I was a little nervous when a message popped up on my new Verizon iphone that the charger was not "optimized" for my device (I guess that's their way of getting you to buy a more expensive proprietary charger), but there was no warning that the device could be damaged, so I feel okay about it. Nice to know I can charge two usb devices at once if necessary.
I also like that the charger comes with an iphone adaptor. Handy.
EDIT: After using this product for several days, I realized that the connector from the iphone adaptor cable to my iphone was easily working itself loose. I don't know if I just got a lemon, but it's not a great idea to have to keep checking the charge connection in a driving situation. So I purchased another USB adaptor cable from the Apple store, and it works fine with this car charger. However, it cost me an extra $20 to replace that crappy Belkin cable.

I have had this product for more than 6 months now after purchasing a series of USB car chargers with very mixed results. I use it more or less daily. So far, it has been very reliable and is quick to charge.
One of the ports is a rapid charger port, which in fact cuts the charge time for apple devices in half or better. It has been reliable, tho the cable that came with it, while thicker gauge than other cables I have seen, has had a bit of a problem with the connecter at the iPod end - it comes loose very easily (I think the hook is malfunctioning). I have substituted other cables that solve the problem, they work well. The only reason I'm not giving this a 5 star is because of that easily solvable cable connector problem.
Overall, I highly recommend this product.

No CON so far.
If you are thinking about buying a $5 charger.. [...], just make sure u know it will work. I bought one before for ~~$5. When plugged it, it will light up and you'll see the charging-battery icon, but in fact.. even if it's plugged in for hours, no power is coming in. There's an article explaining why that happen, that I'm not going into that.
BUY THIS ONE WITH CONFIDENT KNOWING IT WILL WORK AND IT'S THE BEST ONE AROUND. =) (Performance and price wise)

Charging my iPhone 3G and bluetooth headset with this. Both wires were included, one for bluetooth which is a usb and an iPhone/iPod charging cable. I have had no problems with the quick charger port and my iPhone so I don't think there is anything to worry about there. There was enough cable in the iPhone line for me to answer a call in my 06 Honda Civic. Don't know about other cars considering different vehicles have chargers closer or further away. Just saying if you need to answer a call and your bluetooth isn't up and running you can answer calls just fine when it's plugged in. Also, I like that the charging cable for the iPhone doesn't have those little claws in the cable that make you push in both sides of the cable in order to release it. I almost ordered one from Griffin, but after reading rave reviews of this product on Apple App Store I decided to order this one. It's slightly more expensive than Griffin version, but I wanted a unit that wouldn't give me problems (the unit is officially listed by Apple to be compatible with all three versions of iPhones). It comes with two cables for iPhone/iPod and mini-USB. The charger has two USB-slots, one being the "quick charger". Nice feature is that unlike some chargers I can also use these cables with other sources like my laptop...and also attach other USB cables to charge other units like my stereo bluetooth headsets that uses the new micro-USB adapter. Best of all, it has two connectors so you can charge two items at the same time.
