I am taking one star off simply because the placement of the outlets makes using more than a couple of adapters difficult. A person really has to do some "fiddling" and re-arranging plugs to get use of the most of them. The shortish cord is no problem form myself, while it might be for others.
Overall, a decent unit. And for the price very good buy.

After using this surge protector for a month, it suddenly died. The only things that were plugged in it were a bedside lamp, a cell phone charger, and occasionally a laptop adapter.
I recommend against purchasing this surge protector, and instead spending a few more dollars to get a better model. The $10-13 ones are much better.

It does the job -- perhaps. This surge protector does not have a light indicating that it's operational, which I didn't notice just looking at the pictures. Also, as other reviewers noticed, the plug that goes into the wall socket is rather bulky.
Otherwise, it's ok -- just a piece of white plastic with some wires inside.

This spike bar is awesome and the color is very nice in my opinion. It comes with a warranty protecting all your devices plugged into the product. if your devices get damaged from a shock while plugged in the spike bar then the company will replace it up to a certain dollar amount which i think is $10,000.
