I shopped around for a really nice notebook bag that would accommodate a 17-inch laptop and was inexpensive. Where I live, I don't have a lot of options for shopping around, so I looked for one online. Out of all the places I looked, every one gave this Belkin Laptop bag excellent reviews, so I ordered it and I was not disappointed.
The area of the bag that houses the laptop is well padded. There is plenty of room in the front pockets to carry a book or two as well as other things you might need at work or school. It comes with a separate pouch for the power cords so they are not lose in the bag.
The only thing that I found wrong with the bag is, I bought the chocolate/tourmaline colored bag. I thought the chocolate color would be a darker brown. It's more of a medium to dark brown. My husband actually like the color, so gave him the bag and ordered the jet/cabernet for myself.
We are very impressed by this Belkin bag and would recommend this product to anyone.

The pictures of this certainly might give you pause, but it's an incredibly well-made product, and it's a distinctive design that (thankfully) doesn't look at all goofy, which I was afraid it would.
Colorwise, it's a rich chocolate brown with pale blue highlights. Tons of room for stuff, but has a really low profile and is incredibly light on its own. The fabric is very textured - obviously some kind of acrylic fiber - and lightly reflective, adding to the distinct - and I stress this again - but really stylish look. Nothing remotely resembling faux-leather, here. Frankly, I don't know what the fabric is reminiscent of. Burlap spandex?
I'm really happy with this. After seeing the lame and expensive selection available for 17" laptops at the local office supply stores, and to get one that not only looked much more interesting but had more features, was lighter and cost about a third as much as anything else I'd come across, you can color be one happy customer.

This bag is great for a HP dv7. Fits perfectly! No extra pad or sleeve needed. Although I'm going to get the Belkin sleeve to go into the Targus Leather bag I also purchased. I purchased The Targus after this one to use as my professional looking bag. However, the Targus is nice, but once I received it I realized this Belkin is good enough. It can definitely hang out with me on the professional gigs as well as the casual stuff and it's really cool. It gets lots of attention and compliments. I'm keeping both bags and I'll be getting the matching sleeve but for the Targus due to it's not as padded as this one and the PC moves around too much in it. It's not too bad, it's just that I'm really picky about getting any kind of scratch or if I drop it I don't want to worry. The PC (HP 17") fits so perfectly in this Belkin I think it was made for it. The color even matches the PC. I'm giving the Targus 5 stars too because it's beautiful and smells like real leather so I guess it is. :)Customer Review: Super Duper Notebook Bag

I got my bag about a week ago... I LOVE IT!! I have a HP Pavillion Entertainment notebook and it fits snug and like a glove in the bag with plenty of room left for the additional pouch that is included with cords and extras like folders, cell phone, keys and a digi cam...
The only thing that I was worried about was the long strap that folks kept referring to.. well, to my surprise... That is not an issue anymore... Belkin must have fixed the length because at its shortest the bag falls around the top part of my ribcage at its longest right on my hip.... I am indeed very tall but, I tried this on my 5'4" child and it was just a couple of inches difference... so problem solved!
The bag is beautiful in design, very modern and most important of all its very sturdy both inside and out... My boyfriend just got his new Notebook as well and he is soooooo impressed with my bag that he will order one for his too...

Customer Review: Perfect Case for a 17" Sony Viao

I just bought a 17" Sony Viao AR Series and I couldn't find a laptop case to fit it. Any case I found was too manly and boring. After reading the reviews on this case, I bought the Chocolate/Tourmaline. It was a PERFECT fit or my laptop and my budget. I received the item from Amazon within four days of placing my order! And I had choose the cheaper ground shipping.
The laptop fits snugly inside, and if I had purchased the matching laptop sleeve, it wouldn't fit at all so I don't recommend getting the sleeve unless you are going to have the laptop outside of the case 90% of the time. The plug in Sony battery does make the case a little bulky once you put it in, but that shouldn't keep you from buying this case. There are tons of places to tuck other items and the little separate zipper case is a bonus! The colors are so beautiful and the Tourmaline blue is a lot prettier in person. If you do have a 17" laptop - BUY THIS CASE!
