I bought this for the cords around my entertainment center. All the plugs and cords plugged in and ran through the body as shown, so all the cords come neatly out one end. It could use sturdier construction, but I don't have kids and am not rough with things, so I don't anticipate any problems. I'm looking at buying one or two more for computer areas. This 6 footer won't work for one of them, but I see there is also a 10 footer, which would be perfect. I'm very satisfied!! I actually bought two of these - one for my living room entertainment setup and one for my "man cave" entertainment setup. Both used just about every plug available and gave my A/V racks a clean, neat appearance.
Luckily my hinges didn't break and with a little work, I got the thing closed and all of the cables stowed.
One idea for a future improvement: Integrate a cable labeling system. That would be a great addition to this excellent, well thought out product.

I've found this to be a great power strip and plug concealer. I haven't experienced any problems with the cover being flimsy, and I find the cable routing snug but adequate. Otherwise, the only thing I want to point out is that this is a large contraption. I have it snugly pinned between the baseboard and my media cabinet, and it keeps me from pushing the cabinet quite as close to the wall as I'd like, but it's not enough to look bad.Customer Review: Awesome Cord Organizer

I bought this for my husband as a birthday gift and he LOVES it! So do I! We went from having a crazy cord mess in our living room with cords from our PS3, Xbox 360, Dish box, and tv all tangled everywhere to a great organized area with no mess at all! It looks so much cleaner and nicer than before we can't even believe the difference it has made! I'm thinking about getting another one for our basement cord mess now too!Customer Review: Don't waste your money

What a piece of junk! A four year old could have designed a better concealer. It's too small to fit anything but thin lamp cords. Don't bother with this for electronic equipment. There's no where to put the cords and definitely no place to hide the transformers. Oh and a hinge was broken. This is the most worthless piece of junk I've seen in a long time. I'm sending it back.
