Customer Review: Very nice and functional with reasonable use

Just a disclaimer upfront, I will use basically the same review for 2 or 3 different items in this product line. I ordered a "combo pack" of these with varying sizes and models. The pros and cons are identical if not so similar there is no reason to write 2 or 3 almost identical reviews.
So far I love this thing. I've seen lots of clever techniques and products for cable management. I have tried many of them. I was in need of some new power strips and was intrigued by the design concept of these units. Sleek, modern looking power strip with some cable management built in. I had seen one at home depot for full price and after looking at it out of the box the amazon price sold me.
Other reviewers have taken issue with the design and materials, in particular the hinge that the cover sits on. I agree this could be better designed or made with more durable material. However in defense I would say that one needs to be realistic about the operating environment/conditions. I generally take very good care of all my stuff. Aside from my wife being a little clumsy we don't have much in the way of accidents around the house. Now, if you have a house full of little hellions/kids/dogs/relatives running around tearing stuff up. This thing is obviously designed and constructed for function and aesthetic, not necessarily for durability. Further more; location location location. A power strip is not something you generally have out and exposed where said destructive forces could have a go at it. Would the cover hinge assembly break if I kicked it or tripped over it? Yes it probably would, but I don't have the unit anywhere that will happen and it still meets my needs.
Overall I would recommend this product provided you use some good common sense in regards to how your going to use it vs. its intended use and capabilities. If any issues pop up in the future I will edit this review or post a new one.
