Customer Review: Terrible Shopping Experience

I bought this item hoping to listen to the TV late at night without disturbing the rest of the household. I was extremely disappointed with what I got. Only one side worked. It was not easy to set up to use on my HDTV. Once we figured out a way to get any sound through it, we got a scratchy muffled sound though only one earpiece. I returned this item as instructed, but I have not gotten an email confirming it was received. I sent an email a couple of days ago and that has not gotten a response either. This has been one of the worst shopping experiences I have had with Amazon and I buy a lot. I expected better service, a better product, and a better experience and I struck out on all three. The icing on the cake is the total lack of customer service. I had to pay for an item that did not work, pay to have the defective item sent to me, pay to have it shipped back. I expect that I will eventually see the refund on my credit card bill but they have done nothing to satisfy this customer. I will never purchase another product from this vendor.Customer Review: Mom says they work great!

My mother is 83 and quite deaf. She has hearing aids, but they frustrate her, and with them on, she has difficulty making out the words spoken on TV and at the movies. I was a little reluctant to buy her this product because the reviews, though good, weren't overwhelmingly good, and my mother is very picky and easily frustrated. However, the headphones were much less expensive than competitors with worse reviews so I gave them a try. I hooked them up, so I can say without reservation that that was as simple as pie. I received a thank-you note from my mother saying that the headphones work great. Believe me, she would not use that word unless they really were great. I am so happy to have bought a gift that pleases and that has restored my mother's enjoyment of television. I gave 5 stars in all of the categories, but I can't really give a fine-tuned review, since I don't need the headphones myself. I did try them, and they were comfortable, and Mom says they work. I don't think you should hesitate if you are on the fence like I was.Customer Review: Great idea with some drawbacks

I bought these headphones so I could watch TV and movies at night. I have a fairly new TV, and could have plugged directly into the headphone jack on the side, but instead used the splitter and plugged into the "audio out" at the back of the set. This provided really excellent sound. I have perfect hearing, but with these headphones, I could hear everything that the room noise and outside traffic usually drown out. And the price was right. But after one month, I returned them because 1) they are not at all comfortable. The ear piece is not molded to fit the ear and has no real padding. It is only hard, flat plastic covered with a very thin (1/8") piece of foam next to your ear. 2) You have to sit still and not turn your head very often; if you use them in bed, keep the covers and pillow out of the way. 3) And be prepared to spend your life savings on batteries. I was able to get only about 20 hours on one set of batteries. But the sound is really very good with a newer TV.Customer Review: Absolutely love it!!

Well I needed this since I get major insomnia while living in an apartment, plus I like my TV loud. I have had this for 3 years and it's still going strong, trying to find new ear covers but the sound is clear.
Pros - Fit's on the ear, clear voice quality

- Price at the time I paid less
Cons - Some times I pick up radio programs
- Batteries use it a lot so I went to rechargeable batteries.
(I think my model is only uses 2 AA batteries)
It's great to watch action movies with a lot of sound, or music videos or music performances. I absolutely love it I am surprised to still have it working great going on 3 years of use. The spongy ear covers went before the unit did. for the price, the convenience to my neighbors also to watch movies, TV shows with theater like quality in the privacy of my home I love it!

This product works great!!! I have been looking for wireless headphones everywhere and they are just so expensive, I did not want to spend over 60 dollars. I saw this product and the price was perfect. I was worried I would not be able to use on my new LCD television, but it come with all different attachments for the new to older systems. It has a knob on the headset for the volume, which I recommend you keep low and the volume on the TV high to prevent static. We love this product!!! On the weekends my husband is an early riser and he likes to watch his shows on HD with this he is able to do so without disturbing anyone, I can read the paper, or a book sit next to him and not be distracted. I like to watch movies at night and if he has work to do or is sleeping I can watch TV and I have no worries. Highly recommend it. I have had it for one month and we have used it for at least 90 hours and the batteries on the headset are still going strong.
