Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of Durable Flexible Black Silicone Skin Case + Car + Home Travel Charger for Sandisk Sansa Clip Mp3 PlayerCustomer Review: inexpensive, and decent. Summary: 5 Stars
I had to do a double-take on this one. I might be out of touch on electronics, but the same styled chargers for old walkman CD players in the early 90's were like...20-40 bucks. Now, you can buy a home charger, car charger and a silicon case...for a few bucks!?? I thought, "I don't know how they make any money on these selling them for so cheap!" But then I figured it had something to do with communism.
So anyway, yeah, it's exactly what it's supposed to be, a nice little silicon case that hugs your little Sansa clip and protects it, a car charger, and a wall charger. The car charger is basic, all business. But the wall charger is neat looking in a way. It's got this spiffy shape to it, and a little crescent-moon shaped window in it showing off a green LED inside. (I think it's green; color-blind) The case has little icons for the buttons in case you forget, and it really doesn't make the Sansa bulky at all.
But all-in-all, it's a rippin' deal on things that would have cost you 100 bucks in the early 90's for similar stuff, and I recommend it. If it weren't so inexpensive, I might have leaned toward 4 stars as these aren't exactly shock-proof or anything. But they will charge and protect your Sansa and your wallet won't even notice it's lighter. It's the fast food philosophy, cheap and it's good. Thanks China!
Customer Review: Good chargers, but wrong suggestion Summary: 4 Stars
After ordering the Sandisk Sansa Clip+, I decided to get a protective skin for it. The first suggestion that came up was this product. It was cheap, and it also came with chargers. The chargers work great, but the skin isn't actually for the Sansa Clip+. The skin is actually designed for the Sansa Clip, which has a slightly different button layout. Unfortunately I can't comment on the product's performance for the Sansa Clip, but it works well enough for the Clip+. The only problems I have with the skin: it blocks the microSD slot and the microphone, and it can obstruct the mini USB and headphone ports if it slides around. Also, the chargers can be difficult to plug into and remove from the player. I believe the first two problems are exclusive to the Clip+. All in all, it's a good buy, but make sure you get the right one.
The reason I gave this product four stars isn't because I didn't realize it was for the wrong player. Having to wiggle the charger cords just to be able to yank them out and also having to readjust the skin to plug in your headphones/earphones is a minor annoyance. Other than that, it works really well.
Customer Review: Great product for great price Summary: 5 Stars
This product is very easy to use. We've had it about 3 weeks now with no issues. Just plug it into into the USB port and the computer sees it as another drive. Just copy and paste from there. We just add everything at "top level" and we haven't created a folder for each artist, etc. If you want to "Play All", the order becomes interesting but it's pretty much logically by either the artist or name of the song.
Battery strength has not seemed to be an issue since we plug it into the computer every time we're on so it's charged and ready to go when we are.
We liked it so much, we ended up getting two refurbished models which we're not quite as happy with. This newer model has a convenient on off switch where the older model, the on off is tougher to work with.
This is a cost effective way to listen to MP3's, not tie up your cell phone and have to mess with 2.5 to 3.5mm conversion jacks that never seem to work and you can easily purchase MP3's from Amazon.com and listen to them in seconds without having to mess with syncing libraries, etc.
Customer Review: OK - You get what you pay for Summary: 3 Stars
I bought this just for the skin case, the chargers were a bonus, of sorts. After reading the other reviews I decided NOT to even try the chargers - it's just not worth the risk. (please read the other reviews about the chargers) Both chargers seemed very cheaply made, as the price should indicate. The USB cable included with my Sansa Clip charges the unit fine and that's all I need. The skin itself is good and fits the Sansa Clip fine except it blocks the Micro SD card slot. For the $1.74 (plus $3 shipping) I paid it is still worth the purchase. I would recommend the skin for anyone who expects their Sansa Clip to hit the floor once in a while! The item arrived quickly and was packaged securely. Kudos to the seller.
Customer Review: Review of Sandisk Sansa Clip MP3 Player Summary: 5 Stars
Ordering and delivery of product Sandisk Sansa Clip MP3 Player was very easy. The package of ear plugs, and home/car chargers was a great value.
The Black Silcone Skin Case is not practical with the Sansa Clip.
Learning to use the product was easy as well.
Somewhat disappointed in the sound quality when recording from FM Tuner as background hissing noise exist and it is probably poor FM reception (record from within auditorium where transmission is on FM station).
I had questions about downloading recorded sound files to laptop and contacted Sandisk Support who provided excellent and quick assistance.
