Customer Review: Sony Hi-8 Video Camorder battery charger

I have used this charger for almost 3 months now. Compare to my lost one, the size is MUCH smaller and convenient due to the collapsed design AC plug.
The AC input voltage is GREAT because it design from 100 to 240 Volt, which means you can use it almost anywhere in the world.
When the battery has charged (my Sony Hi-8 camcorder confirms that the battery level is 100 %), the red LED blinking light will stop and become a steady light.
The heat produced by this charger is very minimal, just warm to the touch. The charging time for my NP-F730 Lithium Ion Battery, original 7.2V 2700mAh Made In Japan battery, fully charged in less than two hours -- compared to my past Sony original bulky charger charging time --- this charger has a shorter charger time !!! (I did this by running the camcorder until it signaled zero voltage warning sign & the battery just enough power to eject the tape !!) After two months I try to recharge it again and this charger WON'T charge it -- just a steady LED light. So it is a charger that knows which battery has been fully charged --- not some other charger that START the charging process whenever you plug in.
I am highly recommend this product.
