I looked at so many of these products on Amazon and found this to have the best combination of generally good reviews with a very affordable price.
The reviews I read were mostly accurate: some complained of it not fitting in snugly to their adapter port in their car. I have found that mine is slightly loose but frankly haven't been able to figure why this is a big problem. It hasn't had a negative impact on anything performance related.
Some other noted that it interferes with their shifter. Well, check where your port is in your car and don't buy this if its going to interfere - that's hardly the fault of the manufacturer.
The sound quality is as good as any of these devices I've ever heard. I truly couldn't tell a difference between this and when I play a CD.
I love that it is a charger as well (one of my requirements when looking). The only negative thing I can think of is that you can't leave it plugged in as it stays "on." Not sure how much of a drain it would be to the battery but I'm not going to try. It just means I pull it out when I park and lay it on the passenger seat.
This product is truly a solid product regardless of the price - but for the $15 I paid it was a very wise purchase.

This product is decent for listening in your car. The only downside I found with this device is how it holds your ipod in the holder. I have a 2nd generation Ipod touch and when I tried to place it between the two support arms, I think the padding underneath it is too thick, causing my Ipod to slide out of the holder. This product is great for those of us with an older car unequiped with the new aux-in outlet feature. The sound quality depends on the station you're tuned into and installation is a snap. Can be awkward depending on the location of your VDC (cigarette lighter outlet).
