To begin with, Bose should be able to produce a radio that does not require an antenna to enable the receipt of FM stations with a reasonable strong signal.
If they can not do this, then, at least they should supply the antenna with the radio and not force the customer to pay extra for it.
To top it all, the reception is still not satisfactory, even with the antenna. Powerful stations come in with a strong hiss. Other stations, that still have a strong signal come in with noises. This is NOT radio reception as it should be. Shame on a company that aspires to be a leader in the electronics industry.

Boost FM reception on your BoseŽ WaveŽ system with this external dipole FM antenna. Recommended wherever FM signal strength is weak for one or more stations. Plugs directly into antenna input on the back of your system-no old-fashioned screw terminals. For optimum reception, extend the antenna ends as far from the unit and other equipment as possible.
