These do not sound a whole lot better than my $15 Sony vertical in-ear headphones. I have tried all three sets of inserts, and none stay very snugly in my ear. I have to readjust every few minutes. Finally, they are not very loud (using an Ipod Mini) -- again, compared to my Sonys.
