Customer Review: Actually more then I expected

I Travel to Thailand 4 times per year from Honolulu Hi. The first leg of the flight is 11 hours. One of the amenities on such a long flight is each seat even in Coach Class is an inter-active Video Screen with current Movies so new that they still aren't out on D.V.D. Anyway the headphones supplied leave allot to be desired. Because the noise generated from the engines and turbulence actually affect the sound on the movie. One trip recently I looked around and noticed a few people using a unique and smart looking set of headphones that covered the entire ear. On closer inspection I noticed a brand name "Bose" so upon arrival back home, I start a search to find out more about this product. The cost as it turns out was about half the price of my coach ticket. Prompting me search for an alternative. AMAZON ! A thirty minute electronic foray on the inter-net and I came up with exactly what I was looking for and at half the price. After one email and one week I had my headphones. I have just returned from Bangkok and that 11 hour leg.I can report the noise was non existant the sound quality from the headphones was times ten and mine were used. I know it is hard to rate sound quality for every individual, so whatever that's worth. A suggestion to an enterprising individual is offer up-graded headphones at $10 flight with an option to buy. Best Headphones ever bought. It is what the specification says and you cannot ask for more. The noice cancellation concept is a cool feature.
The only drawback is that it is a bit on the delicate side to handle.
All in all a great product and I feel proud to be an owner of the gadget :)

Bought these at a Bose store because I have a heavy international travel schedule coming up. These are amazing noise reducers, shocking really, and listening to the new Wilco album on my I POD on the way home from work was just incredible. These phones deliverered every nuance and cut out the train noise completely. Good for the ears and no need to crank up the volume like I do with my Bose Earbuds. Very very comfortable. As for some of these reviews, if you did not actually get the item you ordered, you should not be reviewing the product. Secondly, I have heard that there are faux Bose products out there and I suspect some of these negative reviews are either for those or used product. I also see that you need to be quite careful in placing them in their case. I imagine that one could break them in haste.
I'm looking forward to some great trips next month!

Noise cancellation and battery life are great. Sound quality is excellent in general too.
The only problem they start physically hurting my ears after a while. The padding seems to be too soft and I can feel the plastic of the ear pieces pressuring against my ears. That completely ruined the experience for me.
