Customer Review: The best headphones you can buy - pricey though
Summary: 5 Stars

I love these headphones. Once you put them on, you will be simply amazed. The only drawback is its price, but then again its Bose. I've seen many people use it on the airplane so I finally went to an Apple store to try it. Once I put them on, I had to buy them. So far, I've no regrets. I highly recommend them.

Customer Review: These headphones simply rock!
Summary: 5 Stars

I bought these in the US as the price in Germany was 398 or about $600 at the exchange rate at time of purchase and am hugely impressed with them. Wore them on the flight back from US and just switching them on before listening to music or movie totally muffles the surrounding sound in the plane. Sound quality is crystal clear as one would expect from BOSE and the build quality is nothing short of excellent. Great product.

Customer Review: The Best
Summary: 5 Stars

I have been using Bose Quiet Comfort 3 for 6 months now. I bought it in Los Angeles and I live in Turkey.

The noise canceling is really amazing. It is probably one of the top 5 in noise canceling among all headphones. Even if you do not play the music but just turn on the headphone, you can easily recognize the difference. Nothing can interrupt your relationship with your headphone when it is on.

Despite this it is hard to protect the headphones. It needs an extra effort to carry it with the bag.

Despite the positives, I can confess that my headphones do not satisfy when it did the first day I bought. This is common for everybody. You just can't help it.

On the other hand, many ask if does this satisfy me after I spent almost 380 USD to afford it. It depends on how much your wallet contains. I think it is a fair price for this high level headphones.

Still QC 2 or QC 15 can get more plaudits because their price is more fair for many.

Customer Review: Not Bad, but not GOOD Either
Summary: 3 Stars

I'm going to start off by saying that these are NOT bad headphones, however they fall short of what I would call "Amazing" which is what I would expect for the price.

These headphones do everything that they advertise, however there are a few problems with the design.

#1 - The quality of the ear pieces is poor-fair. Although they are quite comfortable, they break easily if you are traveling with them or take them to work every day you should expect to have to replace them shortly. Once the plastic underneath the cushon cracks you are SOL and have to spend another $35 to replace them. The warranty is not exactly what I would call adequate either as they say that the ear piece warranty only lasts 6 months while the headphone warranty is 1 year. This tells me that they already know that they area shipping out a product with flimsey construction, the question is - why don't they just use more durable materials in the first place? Obviously, the answer is that they want you to keep buying replacements.

#2 - All the accessories are over priced. Fortunately I haven't lost anything from the origional box, but if you lose the little detachable cord that goes from the headphones to the stereo jack you are out another $25 for something that would be 1.99-4.99 at radio shack if not for the fact that it plugs into the head phones at a wierd angle, no doubt so the customer can not find a generic cord anywhere else.

#3 - The battery takes a really long time to charge compared to other batteries on the market these days.

Again... the product does what it is supposed to, but for almost $400 i would rather not have the design flaws mentioned in #1, and dramatic markups for common or cheaply manufactured "accessories" should anything break or go missing.

Customer Review: As advertised
Summary: 5 Stars

Bought these as a gift. Person who received them is satisfied. I have the "over the ear" version but this apparently provide same effect. Still pricey, but definately worth the price.
