Well made and does the job..I recently bought several splitters and have to say this is a good sturdy one which does the job .
I also bought the Monster splitter which has it's own individual volume control and mute button for each listener which is made better.
Don't get me wrong this is well made and would be my first choice if there was no monster version which wasn't expensive.

Good item. Helps for my computer for when I want to go from headphones to speakers. Now I don't have to unplug my speakers to listen to my headphones. I bought some Scosche IDRM400m with it and only problem I have with this setup is that, if I plug in the headphones ALL the way in the sound doesn't sound as good. So I have to BARELY move them out a little for it to sound like it should. So if you have those headphones just remember that.Customer Review: Information Technology Consulant

I returned these items once I received them without using them so I can't comment on the sound quality or ease of use. On opening the packaging I found an insert that stated there were high levels of lead used within the manufacturing. Wish I could have used a negative number in the rating. As these will be used in a University Computer lab I felt that it was unsafe to use. I returned them without issue and received a refund promptly.Customer Review: Sometimes 6 inches is enough

Anyone running Windows 7 can use this splitter to loop a male/male 3.5mm cable back into the computer's microphone jack to record live audio. Also, I've seen the lead warnings and decided to test the splitter with a lead test kit. Both the exposed metal and the white plastic were tested and came up clean. No lead detected. I'll see if I can post some pics under "customer images".

This is very useful. I've got it connected to the back of my PC so that I can share the sound between my small speakers on my desktop and between my 25-year old Technics Soound System, with which I get a ton of volume for my parties. This splitter has never failed me so I can be very confident that it will work for a looong period of time. A small gadget that's very useful. I'd give it 5 starts if it were black color.
