The lamp is pretty, but lacks in functionality. One, it says "just plug it in" but it fails to mention thats after you put it together and install the plug end yourself. It only bends at the joint in the middle of the arm so it doesn't do much for getting out of the way. My 2nd big problem is that evidently I didn't get the thing together quite tight enough and now (after 2 weeks use) if the lamp is in any position other than fully extended it leans (ie falls nearly upside down). The instructions are not very clear and in some cases (which way to attach the plug) were impossible to follow.
