I can't compare to other Digital Frames, but I bought this one as it was a good deal for playing pictures and music. I haven't experienced (or at least noticed) the resolution gripes that others have mentioned.
I do rather wish that the software/firmware that handles the photos and mp3s would be a little more flexible. You can choose a folder of photos to repeat, but there is no randomize function. When you choose to play music with the photos, it always starts from the same track - controls only handle which photos will be displayed in this mode. You can select music tracks if you set it to music playback only, but this product could do so much more with an upgrade tweak that could randomize pictures and music.

I spent a great deal of time on Amazon's website to look for digital photo frames. My requirements, were crisp picture, 7 inch screen, international power supply (110-220V), MP3 music playing during picture slideshow and below $70 USD. The Axion-9702 does it all. It came in a nice box (good gift), quality of product was great, and most important good decent pictures. The product is made in China but show me one that is not. The frame was easy to setup. A lot of cool extra features such as clock, calender, alarm. The remote is useful, but I never used it. The 7" inch monitor is LCD with Hi-Resolution. Great product - a definate buy!!! You won't find any other digi frame with all these features at this price.Customer Review: Best value digital frame by far!

This is the best value 7" digital frame by far. I work in computer business and I find this digital frame a great value. I bought 2 units a while back for myself and a gift to a best friend. My friend loved it and after I tried it, I too loved it. This unit is easy to use and has clock and calendar. When I am not watching photos, I switch it to clock mode. If I want to take a nap, I turn on the alarm to wake me up. It works great at home or in office; the picture loading speed is fast. The screen is sharp and bright. I just can't ask for more. I would recommend this unit to any one. Others are selling over $80 and this unit (with clock/calendar/alarm) only sells for under $80. The unit worked right out of the box and I didn't even have to read the directions to get most of the functions working.
We are using this in our candle shop to display pictures of custom items that we do not want stock due to space restrictions. So far we are very happy with the performance and quality.

I am actually very impressed with this frame. The picture quality and the fact that it also plays music as it displays the pictures is great. I believe I read past reviews that it doesn't repeat pictures and music,they are wrong. For me it repeated both pictures and music which is a great thing. A frame like this for its price is a great deal. I thoguht the quality of the picture would be bad, but it is just fine. The only downside of it is the clock. I dont know about everyone else, but the clock seems to be a little messed up. When it is, let's say 12:20am, it will show 00:20am. Kind of weird I have to say. Other than that, I think this product is great for its low price.
