I really like this shredder.
1) It is compact, not taking too much space at all. The design is cute, looking much nicer than any other shredders I have seen.
2) Functions well, more than adequately for my home use. We usually shred stuff every a few weeks. A decent folder of documents gets done within a few minutes. Although I used to do shredding on an 'industry-strength' machine, I do not have any complaints on this Aurora unit.
Overall, I strongly recommend this product.

I've made a number of purchases online, however, I have never been totally happy with any particular one until I ran across the Aurora AS420C Desktop shredder. It fits neatly and rather indiscreetly on the top of my desk and with a touch of a button, I can shred confidential documents and old credit cards in a snap. It not only shreds vertically, it cross-cuts too. This is also a sensational gift idea if you don't want to spend too much money on a person, but you want to get something they'll definitely use.Customer Review: Perfect for Light Shredding

This item is small and stylish and hides away easily. I like the handle for removing the lid. The mouth is a bit small, so you have to fold papers in half or rip them to fit through. Don't put more than 2 or 3 thick sheets in at a time or it will get slow, and possibly jam. It does have a "reverse" mode to unjam any paper, and that has worked for me. The letter opener it comes with is pretty handy, although I haven't used it yet. Overall, great little product if you have some light shredding to do at home.Customer Review: mighty midget

If you want a shredder that doesn't take up a lot of space, this is for you--assuming you don't have mountains of paper to shred. The machine is easy to use for checks, but 8 1/2" x 11" documents have to be folded or torn to fit the narrow (about 4 1/2") feed slot. You can only do 4 layers at a time.
We have had no problem with the machine stalling. The design is simple and attractive, so that it's especially suitable for a home or home office. It's also not too noisy or too heavy.

I read reviews before I buy. I loved this little shredder. It powerful and worked well. I don't need to shred a lot stuffs so it is perfect for what I want it to do, few statements each months. When I got it, I have saved many statements for a year. So I turned on the machines, carefully shredded the papers. I didn't want it over used by first time. But hey, get what? It didn't stop even after 10 mins. It eats and eats.. like a hungry machine. Till I have no more to shred. Love it.
