I use this shredder in my home office and it is just what I needed. It is small enough to sit on my desk without taking too much space. The shredder teeth seem extra strong and I have shredded several credit cards with no problems. The reservoir might seems small to some, but I like the compact size and have shredded many documents and CC without needing to empty it. About the only critique I would offer would be that you will need to fold a full size 8.5 x 11 page in half to fit into slot, but not a problem since I like to compact size. My previous Royale shredder finally died and I ordered this model based on the reviews. But while it's the size I wanted (desktop), my main issue with this shredder is that the size of the pieces are too big and the data can still be determined. Also when shredding, the shredded pieces pile up directly under the blades and don't spread evenly in the bin. Then they stop the shredder from working and sometimes trip the fuse. It would be useful to get the size of the paper pieces in the specification for the product. I would have to say I would not recommend this shredder.Customer Review: A treasured purchase!

I recently moved & still haven't unpacked the box that my previous shredder is hiding in . . ha. I do a lot of paper work at home, so felt incomplete without a shredder.
I'm sooo glad I stumbled upon this little work horse. I love the compact size, but most of all,love it's performance! I'll never go back to a full size shredder--unless of course I open an office which would need a full size shredder. But, I truly do have much more confidence in this one compared to others that I have used at home & at work. You'll get more than your $'s worth~

I got this shredder a while back, and I think it's perfect if you are looking for a compact shredder. The major difference between this and other shredders is the mouth of the feed is only what 4 1/2 inches wide. This means you must fold full sheets in thirds or in half lengthwise, but performance has been good and aesthetics are also nice. This handles credit cards fairly well. I wouldn't want to go through boxes of papers with this, but for the occasional piece of junk mail or credit card offer that you want to get rid of, this is a nice option.Customer Review: gets the job done

This shredder is exactly what I needed for simple, easy home usage. After some extensive home cleaning I realized it had documents that dated back 5 years. I needed a shredder for home use! I read the reviews on different sites and came to came to the conclusion that this was the right item for me. It gets the job done. It's small so it can easily be stored. YES you do have to do some prep work. The shredder can only take a couple pages (folded) at one time. So far I've shredded junk mail, personal info and 3 credit cards. For the money this works!
