This is an extremely small shredder. I would have liked to know that you cannot put 8 1/2 by 11 inches paper into the shredder, without folding it first. Also, it does not work on credit cards even though is says it does. It does overheat and I do have to empty the basket often, but overall it works and is simple to use.Customer Review: excellent shredder

This little shredder is perfect-it's easy to use/set up/not a space hog.
So many thing these days are complicated when finding space and setting up. Not this; this is actually plugged in and good to go. Wonderful; I wish I had it sooner. I highly recommend this for your computer room.

I got this based off of reviews here on Amazon and love it. It shreds papers (i just fold them like I was putting them into an envelope, one at a time) and even credit cards. This little devil packs a punch. For the size and price, it does a fantastic job. It shreds everything from statements to thick postcard-like junk mail. For the person who shreds credit card statements, occasional credit card, etc. Not for those who need to shred a lot of paper at one time. The feed slot is small compared to most shredders. The unit fits beautifully into small spaces / out-of-sight yet accessible spaces. Was exactly what I was looking for.
