Customer Review: Great inexpensive antenna for digital converter box reception

Purchased this antenna to replace one with poor reception(others were rabbit ears with built in Uhf antenna hoop). The antenna came with an adapter for cable connection hookup and a hoop Uhf attenna I can't use. The Uhf antenna turns out to be unecessary as the Terk Tv1 antenna gets much better reception than the old antenna with a Magnavox digital converter box. I am able to pick up channels I couldn't before, as said in reviews by others. Very glad I purchased this product.Customer Review: Basic rabbit ears

This antenna works very well as a VHF antenna. There is an included UHF loop, but you need a pretty old TV that has UHF screw posts to utilize it. In addition, if you are thinking of using this for an antenna input to a digital converter box, there is no way to provide the UHF antenna input to the converter. The VHF reception was excellent. I would recommend that you buy an antenna that combines the UHF antenna and then provides it to the converter as a single coaxial source.Customer Review: Don't go out of your way to seek these out.

I purchased this hoping it would be an improvement over my existing rabbit ears for a new ATSC TV I have in a guest bedroom. It was no better, in fact they were worse than the GE Model TV24734 that I purchased at a big box department store. Some stations that I could coax a picture out of with the GE's I cannot with the TERK TV-1's. So either the TV-1 is just not that good or the GE is better than I thought. My next try might be one of the Philips Silver Sensor's.Customer Review: Doesn't Combine UHF and VHF

When I purchased this product I thought the UHF loop would connect somewhere on the "rabbit ear" base and be combined into one signal. I was apparently wrong. I was surprised to open the box and see that I needed to have UHF terminals on my TV to connect the loop antenna. I wasn't too impressed. I'll be returning the product for one that actually combines the UHF and VHF signals as most of the broadcast spectrum used in my area is in the UHF range.Customer Review: missing parts

The antenna is great, pulls in more stations than my old rabbit ears BUT, on delivery, was missing a critical part. I contacted Audiovox and they sent a part, but it was the WRONG PART. I contacted Audiovox again; their customer service tried to convince me I didn't know what I was talking about. Finally, after multiple transfers and being kept on hold, their technical support division backed me up and I was mailed the right part. This took two weeks!!
