So this is a great antenna for regular tv reception (standard def) and it does a good job at times with HD... but some of the time it doesn't. I could find a great HD reception and be watching something and then, without moving the antenna or moving around in the room, it will drop the signal or "choke on it." It will also sometimes lose the signal if you move around. So don't get it if you go nuts during sports. It's great for regular SD channels but if you want HD you should probably spend the money to get one of the antennas that are optimized for HD.Customer Review: Cable company is kicked to the curb

I hardly watched TV anymore, but still wanted to watch the local news stations - my cable company's "low-ball" option was 80+ channels that I didn't even want with a price tag that kept going up.
I have a VERY old TV - but it still works - my indoor antenna gives me the three channels that I would consider watching AND no more money for the cable company.
I would definitely recommend this antenna to anyone that feels the same way about their cable company. This antenna is one of the best things I have bought for my home.

I recently turned my cable off in an attempt to save some money and I bought a $15 antenna at Walmart to try to get some local channels. I live in Phoenix and expected to get several. I got about 2 with a ton of snow. So I started looking for a better antenna and after reading the great reviews about this one decided to give it a try. I was not disappointed. I now get about 15 channels pretty clearly (I do have to adjust the antenna for each channel but I'm OK with that). I think I'm going to have to buy another for the TV in my bedroom!Customer Review: It ain't much, but it works

I read some glowing reviews about this antenna, and since my Magnavox amplified antenna didn't perform up to snuff, I thought I would give it a try.
Of the seven HD stations in our area, I could only get four. With the Terk TV-1, I was able to get six (some of the stations still break up in bad weather. It sometimes takes a little fiddling, but it seems to work OK.
When I first opened the box, I was highly skeptical, but I didn't put out a whole lot of money for it. Only downside is the UHF loop won't fit on my TV.
Customer Review: BETTER THAN OLD RABBIT EARS

This gives a slightly better signal than my old rabbit ears. I give it 5 stars because the signal is maintained consistently with all the channels I receive. I can't get any more channels than I got before, but the same channels all have a stronger signal and I don't need to do any adjusting if I change the channel. I recommend this for those who do not have high expectations but just want a slightly better signal. For the price it is definitely worth it.
ADDITION: It turns out that I do get one channel that I didn't get before.
