Customer Review: Good product for a pretty good price

I was pleasantly surprised by the signal quality with this product. I live about 20 miles from most of the towers in my area, but received all the digital signals cleanly 'most of the time'. There are some days when the antenna has to be 'tweaked' a bit for whatever reason, but for the most part it is pretty much `set and forget'. In my area, the antenna picked up the digital signals much better than analog signals.
Would have given it 5 stars, but the antenna cable was a bit shorter than I hoped. This could be a problem if your desire is to stick it on top of an entertainment center or more than 3' from the TV. I had a longer cable on an old antenna so I just swapped the cables around.

As "rabbit ear" antennas go this is most likely one of the best built I've ever seen. The base is heavy enough to make-up a littlebit for being so narrow. If space is an issue this is a good choice for a basic antenna. The reception is mediocre and a bit inconsistant. I've tuned in Digital and analog signals with this antenna. Compared to other passive antennas I'f used it seemed that this one required more "fussing about" to get things tuned in at all three locations where I tried it.
If you're not more the 10 miles or so from your source and you don't mind fiddling with the antenna for each station you want to tune in this is a well-built choice for an execptionally simple antenna.

WOW. Really wow. I hooked this up and right after, ABC and CBS went from almost nothing to high def!!!!Then I ran AUTO PROGRAM, and BAM!!!!! Channels I didnt have before popped up! It picked up all over-the-air high def channels except for FOX and Kron-4. The antennaweb.org site suggested I use a multidirectional antenna. But this one does the job. My old rabbit ears indoor RCA antenna is nothing compared to this. My old antenna used to be on the sill outside the window, but it could only pick up a few channels clearly.
I live in downtown San Francisco surrounded with brick (?), concrete whatever you call them, surrounded with many apartment buildings.

This antenna has two design flaws that make it unusable for me. The first problem is that the cable that goes from the antenna to the TV is too short. It doesn't reach from the back of my TV, through the back of the entertainment center, to the top of the entertainment center. The antenna only picks up channels if it is on top of the entertainment center, but to hook it up there I have to have the cable go in front of the TV. The other problem is that the antennas only move side to side. They are not adjustable from front to back. I have only been able to get two channels. Overall, I haven't been impressed. I'm going to have to buy a different one.Customer Review: Best I've Tried!

I'm too cheap for cable, so I make do with an antenna and just a few stations. I can't *believe* I suffered for a year with a different antenna before trying this one. I get sharp, clear picture quality on all of the basic stations, and that's without contorting the thing like a pretzel. (I used to balance my old one on books, off the side of the machine-- anything to make it even a tiny bit clearer.) PLUS, the price is right (I paid almost 40 bucks for the first one), and it's aesthetically very simple and sleek. I can't sing its praises enough, given that I've been putting up with blurriness, fuzz, and just plain bad image quality for so long til now.
