I read reviews on a few DVD towers before deciding upon this one and I have been pleased with my choice.
When received it was easy to assemble (besides adding the balls on top which we had to hammer on) and it stood well on my hard wood floors.
It holds all of my DVD's nicely and I love the wavy look of it. I have had no problems with this product.

It's called "Assembly Required" folks. Takes 5 minutes- tops. It's really not that hard to put together. Honestly. It's only a DVD tower. It's a great product if you know how to use a screwdriver. It also looks great in my living room. I own two of them and everyone that sees them loves the way they look next to the entertainment center.Customer Review: Great shelf!

This was absolutely perfect for me since I have a tiny space and a LOT of dvds. I am actually going to have to buy two more because despite it being surprisingly big, I've got a TON of dvds. This shelf though is easy to build, comes with good instructions and tools and is very pretty and a good buy. I would recommend it to everyone!Customer Review: Ok, Not disappointed

The tower is not as study as I wanted it to be especially if you want to place it over a thick carpet, but it is not that bad either! It is elegant and will make a statement in your room! and I felt that the SALE price is just right (I bought this and a CD tower along with this and have identical review for both)

I love the look of this tower BUT it took forever to get the black plugs into the base. Actually, I still have one plug to go and it is not cooperating. 3 of the 4 balls for the top do not fit and will have to be drilled larger.
I find this totally aggravating. Something so simple should not be so hard.
