Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of Atlantic Wave 1386 Click to enlarge Wave DVD Tower (Black Steel/Cherry Wood Base )Customer Review: Yeah it holds my PS2 and Wii cases and all that... Summary: 2 Stars
But the construction was a pain in the ass. Maybe I got a botched one. All of the screws didn't screw in - they were too damn loose! They just slid right onto the poles instead of being screwed on, so when I picked it up two of them fell off *snaps fingers* just like that. For something that supposedly costs $100+, I expected better craftmanship. Maybe I'm the odd one out. I look at all these other reviews and see "assmebly was easy, only took me 15 minutes" and I can't help but feel irritated that I got the bum one. Whatever. Can't win em all. At least I didn't spend anywhere near $100 on this.
Customer Review: "A WAVE FOR THE WAVE" Summary: 5 Stars
THIS IS A LITTLE TRICKY TO ASSEMBLE, BUT A HAMMER WILL HELP SET THOSE SCREWS SO YOU CAN SCREW THEM DOWN, AND THAT SAME HAMMER AND A CLOTH WILL PUT THOSE STUBORN BALLS ON THE TIPS, AND A UTILITY KNIFE WILL WIDEN THE HOLE.
I'M BUYING MY THIRD TOWER. THEY ARE VERY ACTRACTIVE WITH THE CHERRY WOOD BOTTOMS AND KNOBS, AND THEY ARE STURDY ENOUGH TO HOLD YOUR DVD'S. I BOUGHT 2 TO START, AND THEY CAME QUICKLY, AND WELL PACKAGED.
I DO RECOMMEND THESE DVD TOWERS. JUST BE A LITTLE PATIENT, AND YOU WILL BE HAPPY WITH THE RESULTS.
Customer Review: Looks great and is reasonably solid and stable! Summary: 5 Stars
I really have no complaints about this.
1. I came in the mail quickly.
2. I had it put together in about fifteen minutes, and it came with any required tools. The wooden accent balls that go on the top are a little tough to put on, but I like that because it means they won't fall off easily.
3. My floor is uneven in my 1916 apartment, but the stand doesn't seem like it's tipping at all.
4. It looks nice with all my DVDs and XBOX360 games on it next to the Tv.
Customer Review: functional and attractive Summary: 5 Stars
I bought one at an electronics store a few years ago and it is still like new. I didn't think it was hard to put together. Surprisingly sturdy and attractive. It holds LOTS of dvds yet takes up very little space. The movies are easy to access and mine has never fallen over. My dvd collection has grown and I have a stack on the floor next to my stand. The stack on the floor is following the curves of the rack. Time for another one. I was thrilled to locate another one on Amazon.
Customer Review: Does the Job Summary: 5 Stars
AFter months of looking for traditional DVD storage cabinet we came across this item. It's perfect for DVD storage. Not too big, fits in any corner and best of all has large track openings, about 10 in all, as opposed to other similar stand DVD holder which have single slots for one DVD. Advantage.....you can keep a box set together on one rack without having to pull them out individually. We're buying a second for the other side of the TV. 5 minutes to put together.
