Speaker stands are ok, and fairly solid. The only problem i had is that my speakers are a little tall for the bracket provided. I have onkyo speakers that are about 10-12 inches high, but narrow. They have a metal insert in the back for the bolt from the speaker stand to attach to. The bracket that the bolt goes into doesn't extend far enough up to reach the insert, and was of no use. I had to drill holes in the bottom of the speaker and put two small screws in to attach them to the stand. Some two sided tape was provided, but i didn't feel it was strong enough, especially since some of it was no longer sticky. They look fine, but wish the brackets were longer - I don't like drilling holes in my speakers.Customer Review: Great product, check your speaker

I'm not going to lie. This purchase has fulfilled it's intentions and it is of the highest quality, I'm honestly not sure why I have waited so long to purchase them. My only concern has to do with the mounting hardware. Since this is a universal application, not all sizes are quite compatible with this stand. While I had to confide in the creative genius side of me, all was well after a hour or so of modification. My speaker was too tall for the mounting bracket and I had to make it longer. Simple mod and having a more universal mounting hardware would have caused me to rate this 5 stars.
All in all, these stands stand up to the competition very well !! I am very happy with this purchase.

I needed speakers stand for my Home Theater System. I live in an apartment and wasn't able to mount the speakers on the wall and besides the speaker wires would be visable. The speaker stands are of good quality, are easy to assemble, and look great. I looked around and other speaker stands were a lot more money. You can't beat the price, I bought two sets and received free shipping. The speakers work for me. If you are looking to buy speaker stands and don't want to spend a lot of money you can't go wrong. The stands do come with an assortment of screws for mounting the speakers. The screws that came with the stands were to long. Bought four shorters screws at my local hardware store for $.27.Customer Review: Great Price, Great Stands....

I needed some stands for a new surround sound system, but couldn't see spending major bucks for such a simple thing. The price of these caught my eye, along with the positive reviews. Placed my order and had them in two days, pretty fast for the free Super Saver shipping option. Well packaged, with adequate instructions and hardware to address about any type of speaker mounting scheme. Went together fast and easy, nicely finished and as functional as you need a speaker stand to be. If you are looking for a work of art or fashion statement, these may not be for you. If you're looking for a well constructed and finished set of basic speaker stands, look no further....Customer Review: They work.

Picked these up for my Energy take 5 and like the other reviewers have said they don't mount on the supplied brackets. Well the price was good for these and after looking at how these were mounted a quick trip to Lowe's fixed all my issues. The mounting bracket uses some spring steel bent into an L shape and you screw that into the back of the speakers with some washers. The supplied L is about an 1.5" short with the trip to Lowe's i was able to find the right gauge spring steel and did the L shape bending on the side of a work bench and a rubber mallet.
Perfectly happy with my purchase. The 4 stars is because i had to do my own R&D.
