Overall, I am very pleased with these stands. The bases are a little large, but that does add support for larger satellite speakers. They are somewhat triangular, with the rear section of the base having a small notch in the bottom for the wire to pass out of and be held down by. My speakers are very small, from a SONY HTIB system with wireless rears, so it looks a little much, but whatever. After a while, you aren't noticing them anymore, except by ear, doing exactly what they are supposed to do. The assembly is pretty easy. I had them both put together and speakers attached in 15 mins, including running the wires through the pipes. The stands seem able to accommodate a wide variety of speaker sizes due to the "Slot and Clip" design on the mounting perch. I think you will be pleased with these stands, and the price is right :)Customer Review: Very nice stands at a nice price!

These stands are very well-built and easy to assemble. They are sturdy even on carpet for most small satellite speakers. I used them with the following speaker set and they work great.

The stands are hollow so you can hide the speaker wire. The height is easily adjustable with no tools. The only reason I took off 1 star is because they don't offer many different mounting options. The included mounts work fine for the speakers above, but they might not work for all satellite speakers depending on the size, shape and location of the screw-holes. The stands are metal, with a heavy base, so they should be strong enough to support most satellite speakers.

I chose these speaker stands after reading all the other reviews of these stands, as well as those of other brands. I'm writing to tell you everything said is true --- these are solid, great-quality speaker stands. They are good looking, the base is nice and heavy and sturdy. They are easily put together (the bracket that your speaker will attach to is a little funky to put together, but nothing major). Finally, for the PRICE, it's not even a contest! These stands are half the price of their competitors, and I can't see how other stands could beat these. You can even run the speaker wire through the stands to hide it from view. A Solid "A" grade. The only thing that stopped me from giving it 5 stars was the less-than-perfect bracket assembly process...but again, it's no big deal, and these are certainly worth every penny.Customer Review: Excellent buy

Very good product for the money. I bought two sets to mount my front and rear speakers. They are heavy so they won't tip over, they look better than you'd expect for the price plus I love the fact that I can run the speaker wire through the bottom of the stand up through the inside of the pole for a clean installation. The only thing I don't like is that the supplied screws to mount the speakers were too long for my speakers which are similar in size to the ones in the product picture. This prevents me from being able to secure the speaker snugly against the bracket although they are attached and not going anywhere just loosely attached. But this is really nothing as all I have to do is pull out my trusty little Dremel tool and cut the screws off to the appropriate length. Best bang for the buck by far!Customer Review: Sound Standing

I bought these for my Sony Bravia surround sound system. I needed something to support my speakers in an awkward layout for optimal sound. These stands did the trick. The stands come ready to be assembled and are sturdy. The rear satellite speakers that came with my surround sound are not designed to be screwed onto the stands; consequently I had to use adhesive tape (included) to mount those. With two kids, they sometimes get bumped, but have managed not to fall off the stands. The front speakers fit well and were able to be screwed onto the stands. The base of the stands are bulky and don't fit neatly under the couch, or to the sides of the TV stand. They are big, but provide the support necessary for larger speakers.
Overall I'm happy with the purchase and recommend them.
