I'm really happy with this purchase. I needed some low-rise DVD shelving to line a 36" high half-wall between my kitchen and family room. I had 72" of wall space (or half-wall) to fill and was contemplating how I could wedge three of these into the space when it struck me that it'd be pretty easy to combine the uprights (staggering the shelves), saving space and making the whole installation look more "integrated." I purchased three units from Amazon and received them a few days later.
I agree with some other posters here that this type of wire shelving sometimes suffers from inconsistent fit and/or finish so I made a point to examine the parts upon arrival and must admit I could find no obvious problems with the finish or quality in any of the three sets. No, it's not what anyone would call "upscale" furniture, but it's perfectly suitable for its purpose and all parts fit together well and were unblemished.
Setting up the unit proved that, as I'd hoped, combining the sets was indeed a breeze and I went ahead and built one large wide unit using eight uprights and twelve shelves. At the end of the build I was very pleased to find that the whole thing is just over 71" wide, perfectly fitting the space! I was able to have four shelves in each section, giving me roughly 23 linear feet (!) of shelf space for DVDs and Blu-rays! Couldn't ask for more, really. This one so pleased me that I think I'll actually upload photos of the finished project.
Also, as a completely unintended bonus, the remaining extra parts (four uprights and three shelves) found a home as another freestanding shelving unit on the entertainment center immediately behind the flat screen TV and is now holding the Wii and games/accessories, plus elevating the center channel speaker at about the perfect height to clear the top of the 46" screen. All this utility for roughly $110 complete sure beats the "real" (read: overpriced wood laminate) shelving units I was going to have to shell out $300+ for! Nice...

Don't expect this to be sturdy; don't expect all the pieces to fit right; don't expect it to actually hold the advertised number of dvds ... with all this in mind, you'll be happy with your purchase, as long as you forget how much you paid.
I did get it together, and if you don't bump it, the dvds stay on; but you should have more than minimal skills on making things fit when:
1. screws are not tapped properly (no I didn't cross thread the assembly)
2. shelf stops tend to shimmy off the insets
3. shelf stops are at different levels on each leg
Anyway, if I'd paid 1/3 as much, I'd have expected the quality I got.

Other that struggling somewhat to put the unit together (once I figured out that the shelve bushings that hold the shelves at desired level are tapered)I am pleased with the item. Worked out real good storing my Cd's, I even inverted the bottom shelf to put my old albums on. The picture kind of fools you,it is smaller than it looks.
