The power adapter came in within my delivery estimate, so that makes me happy, as I am leaving for school I wanted to get it in before I left. The one I received has the green dot, so I know it's safe for use.
I put my iPod to charge last night while I slept, because that is the best time for me, and I do not like leaving my computer on over night. Turns out (I did not know that) that since I do not have it plugged into my computer I can still play my music while it's charging. Very happy about that. I am very pleased with this product, and plan on using it whenever my iPod battery gets low (unless I need to add new songs to it.)

I received the adaptor in the mail and that night plugged it into the wall and was watching TV when I heard a Humming/Buzzing noise. I could not figure it out at first and found the problem to be the adaptor that I had just received hours ago. I unplugged it and replugged it hoping that it would go away and it did not. i emailed the company and they said that they would resend another product out. I never received it to this day. Get what you pay for, I paid less than a buck, what do you expect? By the way it had no LED like advertised! Sorry hate giving a bad review but save your dollar!Customer Review: Does not work for iPhone 3G!

This does not work for iPhone 3G. The iPhone 3G says that this device cannot be used for charging. I have contacted the seller. It seems to work for my HTC Desire but I haven't let it attempt to charge for long because I fear it may have an electrical problem and burn out my other phone.
I would recommend you either contact seller first to confirm it works with your device or look elsewhere. If I receive a response from seller, I will update my review.
This is the first disappointment I've had from Amazon in ordering devices :(

Most are concerned if a wall-charger like this would work 100% w/ the latest generation iphone or Ipod touch. Once you are assured that the charger comes w/ a green-dot upgrade that makes it compatible w/ the above products, or vendor's mention about correcting previous issues regarding Apple's change in wall-charger current specifications, the item is a must have add-on gadget for sheer portability; i.e. carrying a laptop for charging would be less convenient ... maybe 5 stars is too much. Initially bought it on Amazon where the seller claimed it as new, ultimately it was very much defective unable to charge my iPod Touch. I brought it to the Apple Store and they gave me their brand new travel charger priced at $30 and boy was I happy. Make no mistake that if you buy this one, it probably doesn't have the green LED light as stated. It does have a green circle that Apple put denoting that it is the revised travel charger since the original was incompatible with certain countries' wall outlet.
