it was worth the money that i paid for it. i wouldn't buy it brand new, but it was worth the used price. i love the shuffle feature (that's why i bought it). only thing i didn't like is that if the battery is completely dead, it's hard to tell if it's charging at all because there will be no lights AT ALL on the ipod. it took 30 minutes of charging after i unpackaged it and plugged it in before the charging light started blinking... but i love it now that i know how it works...Customer Review: More bang for your buck

At first I was hesitant to buy the shuffle, am I selling myself short, Will I miss the video feature of a full-size iPod? The only thing I have been disappointed about this product is the fact that I bought the silver one just two months before the purple one came out. This ipod is great for working-out and traveling, the other ipods are too bulky for these activities. I take it everywhere with me. I LOVE IT! I use it for music, but mainly bought it to use at bedtime for meditation purposes. I found I use it A LOT more than that! Absolutely love it and never regret buying it! I use it all the time. It holds even more than I thought it would. The only thing I would prefer in an ipod in the future is being able to see the playlist on a screen, but other than that I am very satisfied. I have had my ipod shuffle for about a year now. The headphones were not earbuds, so I got new ones immediatelly. I personally can't run with regular headphones, but some people must be ok with them. The battery holds up well. I only charge it once a week, unless I do a really long run.I was amazed at the price jump. I paid $45 for mine and now they want almost $100 because the new ones are so bad. Hope my hold up until they come up with a new one that actually works.Customer Review: A total value purchase

I love the shuffle. I've even dropped in water and it still kept working. It's light weight, easy to use, and the battery life is AMAZING! It's an A+ Apple product.
I'm don't use the Shuffle like most. I don't use iTunes. Instead I use iShuffle.exe to sync the playlist. This gives me more flexibility and ease of use. I prefer Amazon MP3 downloads. I also use Juice to download podcasts. Then use a script to copy over files every day.
