I am really enjoying this!! It's great to listen to songs without them skipping (like with my CD walkman), and the controls are easy to use and easy to access. I like the fact that the music "bookmarks" where I leave off, but that I can also go back to the beginning if I want to without a lot of difficulty. So far it's been easy to recharge on the computer and to change the song order if I want. I know I'm a real novice with these "electronic gadgets", but this has been easy enough for even me to handle!Customer Review: Great Workout Companion

I started working out again recently and purchased one of these to take along to the gym, on walks and other activities where I would like music without having to carry a big player.
It is perfect, light and small with good battery life and sound. It does not have some of the features that my other iPod has, but I knew that ahead of time and wanted this because of its size.
I load up a string of songs from some playlists and I am good to go for quite awhile.

After the arm band for my video ipod chafed a large spot on my arm I finally decided it was time for something a little more manageable to work out with. The Shuffle is the perfect solution. It holds plenty of music to give my walk or run variety and is so small I can clip it just about anywhere on my clothes and forget about it. I even load it with yoga podcasts and bring it with me to my mat. The only downside is that it's so small I get paranoid about losing it.Customer Review: Loads of Music in a Little Package

I bought this iPod so I could listen to music while I work out. It's perfect for that, because it weighs nothing, clips to my T-shirt and I get to listen to what I want instead of the stuff proffered by the gym. But I have also found myself using it in other contexts. I recently travelled across the country, and the process of waiting in airports and on the plane was made much more pleasant by having my iPod Shuffle with me. I purchased an Apple 1 GB iPod shuffle (Purple) (3rd Generation)
recently for myself. It is the first time I have used any Ipod. I am 60 years old, and sum-what technically challenged I thought. I was pleasantly surprised at how easy it is to use and how perfect it is for taking anywhere with me. It is so small, that there is no weight issue with clipping it to any clothing and the sound is amazing. I'm truly happy with this purchase for myself.
