Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of Apple iPod shuffle 1 GB Purple (2nd Generation) OLD MODELCustomer Review: AMAZING IPODS Summary: 5 Stars
I LOVE iPODS! Have the 5th Gen Video, 2 8GB Nanos 2nd Gen and 2 Shuffles 3rd Gen. This little "mighty mite" has an amazingly long battery life & at 1 gb or 240 songs, doesn't really need screen display and categorization. It is so tiny and easy to wear either hidden or displayed. I usually sleep "in mine" - it runs all nite for 2 nights without recharge (16 - 24 hours!). My 5th Gen Video is good for 6 hours MAX and I never watch or have videos on it, just music. My 2 8GB Nanos get a good 12 hours each. I knew of someone who had 5 shuffles -- one for each category of music, i.e., country, classical, pop etc. you get the idea. I got my last one from Amazon for a GREAT price in the color I wanted and it was SHIPPED quickly in PERFECTLY NEW CONDITION. Don't hesitate, they are fantastic, simple to use and so worth the money. 5 STARS
Customer Review: good product for price but not crazy about the ear phones Summary: 5 Stars
the ipod shuffle is a tiny thing but that is what I like about it. it's about the size of half a credit card. I picked the purple one but it comes in several colors.I believe there is blue, green and maybe even a pink one.
I did have to replace the ear phones cause I didn't like the fit of the ones that came with the ipod. I had trouble with them staying in my ears.
You should also note that if you want your music played in a certain order on you ipod, you should make sure that you have it set up that way before you unhook it from your computer. the program lets you sort by artist, alblum and grene. depending on which you pick, that is the way it's going to play if you pick loop.
I am not sorry I purchased the ipod and I have been enjoying it since it was delivered.
Customer Review: The Second Generation Is Quite a Sensation Summary: 5 Stars
If you like to listen to your music and you want to take it on the run, this i-pod shuffle is perfect. It's small enough to bring. It's not as big as some of those that are ridiculously big. It can hold 250 songs so I'll bet you won't run out of space for songs. The i-pod has big range of volume. You can have it really loud so you don't have to put the headphones in your ears. If you have CD's that you love, you can download the CD in your i-pod for free using Itunes. It's free to download Itunes too. Free, free, free I say, free! Or you could also buy songs that you don't have on CDs. If your an American Idol fan you can buy any contestant's song that they sung on stage. Cool huh? As I said in the title the i-pod's second generation is quite a sensation!
Customer Review: Apple ipod Shuffle Summary: 1 Stars
You had to rate at least one star--I wouldn't rate Blue Proton that high. I bought the Apple Ipod Shuffle from Blueproton through Amazon. I understood there was a 15% restocking fee if I didn't keep it. When I received it, it didn't work and I have written to Amazon twice as well as directly to Blueproton twice on how to return it. Blueproton never answered so I considered their customer service to be extremely poor and no longer wanted to do business with them. I returned it via returned receipt and contested my charge on the credit card. Blue Proton returned the package. I wouldn't recommend buying anything from Blue Proton through Amazon. This has taught me only to buy directly from Amazon not secondary stores. The contested charge will stand now.
Customer Review: Terrible product life Summary: 1 Stars
I bought my first in September of 2007. It lasted six months before it died. I sent it in, it was repaired. In the meantime, I received one for my birthday as requested, as a back-up. The original that was fixed conveniently died in October of 2008, after it was out of the original warranty. And just this week, five months after purchasing the second one, IT died. I now have no back-up until this one is repaired. The first one is now junk, and the second one probably won't last through the original warranty period. The original cost $79 and lasted a year. The second had been reduced in price, but it won't last a year. Therefore, $130 for 18 months. I expected more from Apple.
