I wanted something small for walking and this is perfect. It has worked really well - the only thing that bothers me is that I can't transfer the tunes to my computer. I downloaded tunes from my best friends computer and then lost them when I tried to add to it from my computer. There's only certain songs I want to work out to and I was trying to only have those - I talked to the folks at the Apple store and they told me it was made that way on purpose to keep their iTunes stuff proprietary or somesuch....oh well, I can't have everything. I love my shuffle. I recieved it for my birthday and immediately feel in love with it. I loaded 200 of my songs. I know many people say that it doesnt fit many songs but honestly no one listens to the 1000 songs on their ipod. I have around 900 on my Itunes library but was easily able to pick 250 of my favorites. Its so small and have an awesome clip function. I use it when I workout at the gym but I might need different headphones for using it at the gym. Overall though 5 STARS. Awesome gadget cant wait to see what they do for generation 3!!!Customer Review: Worth the Money....

The sound quality is great and I definitely feel this little iPod is worth the money!! My only complaint is that it is easy to lose your grip on it....I wish they had designed it with a textured area. The way it is now it sometimes slips out of my hand when I am trying to clip it on. My husband wishes it was like our larger iPod and displayed what song you are listening to...I don't really care about that. I know what songs I downloaded, so that isn't a big deal to me. This second generation shuffle is really cool. It is perfect for persons on the move; in the gym; out jogging; etc. So small yet it does a great job. I have classical music on it and the playback is of good quality. Uploading music to it is a breeze. Using the check boxes below in the itunes window you can replace the entire list of songs or by removing the tick just add new songs only to the list. It is so simple to use my nine year old son from the minute he took it was able to manipulate this player.Customer Review: Just the right amount of music

After much contemplation and trying to decide exactly which MP3 player I wanted, I chose the iPod Shuffle, and am very happy with my selection. I use it during work (8 hrs) and my commute to and from (45-50 min each way) and find it holds charge for 2 and a-half days worth of listening. I wasn't sure that it would hold enough music, but in 2 days, I only get a few repeats, and I only have it loaded to about half-capacity. Hot pink was my color choice, but I would be just as happy with it in any other color.
