Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of Apple iPod shuffle 1 GB Pink (2nd Generation) OLD MODELCustomer Review: Not bad Summary: 3 Stars
I recently got this item for my sister back in India. The product is really cool, especially the size - very compact. But you don't have any control other than turning the shuffle on or off. If you really want to select songs u wanna ply, you have to go for players with a display and to fit into a <100$ budget - u definitely cannot choose apple. Also the left ear phone produces some crackling sound often which is annoying at times. But I don't know if the warranty would hold good in India. So if u r buying this for someone overseas, think twice ... check the product if its absolutely fine before sending it over.
Customer Review: Gadget of the year!!! Summary: 5 Stars
I never thought I'd live to the day where I'd fit the content of about 24 CD's (240 songs) in a little player the size of a quarter!!
I got one for myself, I was so impressed that I bought another pink one for my mother, my mom is a lady who doesn't even know how to use a TV remote control correctly, yet, she was fully comfortable with her new shuffle in less than 1 minute. I've never seen my mother happier, that I was able to put her all time favorites on this little guy, and she can listen to them all day long... All in all, its a great purchase and I might buy even more as gifts for my loved ones..
Customer Review: Not user-friendly or easy to learn Summary: 3 Stars
If you are new to the MP3 player technology, this is NOT, I repeat, NOT A GOOD PRODUCT FOR YOU. This player is only for those who already own and use an MP3 player. This is important because the Shuffle has no labels and its small size (book of matches) necessetates your finger instinctively jumping to the "Forward" or "Back" button as it is too small to see. Also, there are no song labels so you pretty much have to either know what you have downloaded, be willing to scroll through or frequently change the songs. Regardless, this was my first MP3 player and I still have yet to figure out how to use it.
Customer Review: Unhappy customer Summary: 1 Stars
Bought this asBirthday present for my 90 yr old wife who doesn't like gadgets. Worked just Ok for maybe 3 days and after I downloaded 4 albums, it would not work at all. Took to Apple store in San Joee. They are processing for replacement but must be ordered? Because I bought through Amazon, I may have to wait longer??
As a side comment, I am used to MP3 ( Sansa) but thought I needed a User Manual for the tiny Ipod Shuffle.I wennt online and marked tp print the user manual. I got 31 pages of an IPOD Shuffle that doesn't look like what we have! Apple should update their wweb site!! Bob Homer
Customer Review: Love it! Love it! Love it! Summary: 5 Stars
The 1G Ipod is certainly not as cool as my husband's 30G with video, but how many of us really need all that anyway? I am absolutly in love with my Ipod. 250 songs seems to be more than enough - I have had mine for one month and I haven't yet filled it up. I love the shuffle feature because I sometimes get sick of listening to one artist or even genre for the entire length of a CD. It's small enough to take out jogging, loud enough to tune out the kid shows that are a constant in my household and with the right cable I am able to connect my Ipod to my home theater so the whole family can enjoy.
