Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of Apple iPod shuffle 1 GB Pink (2nd Generation) OLD MODELCustomer Review: Love it! Summary: 5 Stars
I love that it has two different modes- you can shuffle your playlist or just listen to it in the order you put the play list in on your computer. I also like the fact that you don't have to fuss with batteries, and the charge lasts a really long time. It's very compact, and the clip holds well. It doesn't take as long to synch with my computer as I thought it would, and it doesn't take very long to charge (a couple hours) especially compared to how long the charge lasts (my sister-in-law has been using hers at least an hour every day for over a month and still hasn't had to recharge it). This product gets two thumbs up from me. The ONLY downside is you may want to consider the iPod Nano instead if you want more than 250 songs on there.
Customer Review: Sooooo 4 Stars
This shuffle is simply a marvel. Absolutely tiny, adorably cute, and yet holds a TON of music. My only wish is that Apple would make it so that the user could choose to have the songs stop automatically once they've played through. (Unless I'm missing something, the tracks will continue to play through eternity, repeating over and over until manually stopped). For the price and the size, it's not a huge complaint, I'm super happy with my shuffle--and maybe they'll work something like that into their next models. It's easy to use, easy to transport, and is so incredibly cute it makes my regular ipod look bulky and huge! (I never though that could be possible, but it's true!). I love my new shuffle. Absolutely love it!
Customer Review: Apple 1 GB ipod Shuffle (Blue) Summary: 4 Stars
I was a hold out for an MP3 player, but my husband and two children had been using ipods for the last couple of years. I had been used to carrying around a cumbersome CD player for a long time, and who needed 4000 songs anyway?
Then...along comes the cute little quarter size ipod shuffle! I was apprehensive about being able to use my husband's music list (we use the same computer) but there was no problem. I created my own playlist from his library and downloaded my songs from there!
I downloaded my songs yesterday, and voila, I was up and running. Walking with it, that is! Now if they would only invent something I can attach to it so I don't misplace it like I do my keys...

I love my shuffle! I like how you don't have to listen to the songs shuffled if you don't want and I love the clip feature. 250 songs is just right for me. This little baby is perfect for exercising or when you're on the go and you don't want to worry where you'll put it like the full sized iPods. I'm PO'd I bought mine before Apple decided to come out with colored shuffles. Not cool Apple. Not cool. :) The only drawback I've noticed is it doesn't have the option where you push a button and it makes it so if the dial is pressed on accident the song or volume can't be changed.
EDIT: I found out it does have the hold mode, you hold down the play button for 3 seconds. Awesome!
Customer Review: A Pink Even A Man Would Wear Summary: 5 Stars
Oh Pink iPod Shuffle, let me count the ways I love thee:
1) You don't break down as often as your predecessor, the gumstick Shuffle.
2) You weigh very little.
3) Your clip is very strong and works for securing onto a cap.
4) The buds are an improvement versus the previous iPods.
5) The little USB thingy to recharge and sync is extremely cool.
OK, now seriously, this Shuffle is recommendable for those that really want to take their iPod outside and forget that they are wearing an MP3 player. Its form factor is convenient and the buttons take little time to master. Its premium over other players with similar capacity is well worth it.
