my college daughter got this particular ipod for christmas and absolutely loves it. The first time she listened to something, she actually let out a yell of delight! the only problem was that when she went to buy an armband so she could use it at the gym, the store told her that they were discontinuing this shape and consequently they no longer had armbands for sale to fit hers. that didn't seem right to us...otherwise, she loves it and so I recommend it!Customer Review: Very bad customer service, even after sending the defected product

Very bad customer service, even after sending the defected product. I got the semi-defective product; after calling to the vendor's customer care, they behaved badly, and said if I will send the product back I have to pay for the shipping (with insurance), and even though they will not replace the product. It shows, first send the defective product and then instead of apologizing for sending the bad product, behave bad with the customer.

I think the 3rd gen Nano is apple's best ipod. The design is very compact and yet the screen quality is fantastic. I compared the screen quality with the newer 5th gen nano and 3rd gen had a brighter sharper display. I actually watch movies on this little thing and manage to get absorbed into the film and forget its a little screen. I have a i pod touch which I don't really use anymore, I just like the simplicity and small size of the 3rd gen nanoCustomer Review: Good MP3 player, weak built-in amp, useless video feature

It's your usual Apple iPod only with a different design and shape. The interface is nice and had cover-flow mode as well as many cool games. The player has weak built-in amp so you always listen to it at over 80% volume, more often at max volume actually. The standard iPod headphones are not that great but get the job done. The video capability is useless...you are not going to watch a 2 hour movie on an airplane using a 0.00001 inch screen.Customer Review: Delivers!

I bought it for my brother and he just loves it! On testing its sound quality and features I can see why iPods are just the hottest MP3 players on the market. I may just have to get one for myself. Its small, stylish look and size (hardly weighs anything) is also a definite plus! The only slight drawback for me is that the headphones would have to be used all the time since the device doesn't have speakers on it for external listening.
