I think Apple finally made the IPOD nano too small. It may be great for kids or people with small hand, but I would have liked it with a little more weight. Also photos with large resolutions takes a long time to load and a few times the nano locked up ( you can feel the heat on the back of the gadget). We bought an Apple iPod Nano Silver with 8 Gb memory for my grandson's 13th birthday. We heard back from him shortly after he opened his gift. He is so happy with it especially the larger memory. He said the quality of sound from such a small package is really great. He said his friends really like it too! Direct quotes.

The delivery time was most satisfactory. I am pleased with the condition of the package when it arrived.
I think it would have been nice if Apple would have included a short operation booklet with their iPod Nano so that a first time user would have some knowledge of how to use the iPod. Also what optional items are offered to use with the iPod.

Great item. When I first got it the screen worked for a second then went into permanent "sleep". I suspect it had been kinda bashed around by UPS. Anyway, after going back and forth w/ customer service, they had me send the item back. They repaired it and reshipped promptly. I've had no problem since. I appreciated their helpful customer service.
