I recently purchased the 8GB Nano. So far, I've been really pleased. There is just one little glitch that I can't quite figure out, and it seems some others have had problems with the cover flow of one kind or another. In my case, there are instances where the cover art won't come up even if it comes up on iTunes on my computer. Whether it's art that I've loaded from iTunes or art I've added myself, it doesn't want to come up for all of the songs. The other issue is that the artwork for a song doesn't always match up. Cover art for Weezer will show up for a David Bowie song. Is anyone else noticing this? The cover flow itself is very smooth, and doesn't lag while I'm clicking through. i love my nano. it's perfect. i have already downloaded so much of my existing music to it. i've decided to purchase the 80gb too for my entire library and just use the nano for working out, my car and work. i've had it less than a month and because i'm a big music love it's already more than half full. great functionality. i actually have the red one you buy from an apple store. the menus are easy to use, the sound is good, i take it everywhere. buy a few extra accessories and you can listen in your car, at work, you name it. it's great. i would recommend the 8gb for sure because it's not hard to fill it up.Customer Review: It's a Mega not a Nano

We're an Apple family so you'll understand why I like most if not all of Apple's products, but let me tell you this, When I see the smile on my daughter's face it means the world to me. The Ipod nano brings her that smile. I couldn't possibly ask for more.
Technical side: It's an Apple, so you'd expect I high quality and a reliable technology. Screen resolution is high enough to be easy on the eyes and the menu dial works like a turn wheel so you can navigate menus smoothly.
Don't waste your money with anything else. I've been an Apple user since 97 and it never failed me ever.

I just got my iPod a couple of days ago. I had seen the 4th generations come out over the last couple of weeks and realized quickly I didn't like the changes and didn't want one of those. I've wanted one like this since my daughter got one last year for Christmas and I've seen all she can do with it. It'll take me awhile to learn all the features -- I'm a bit slow with technology -- but so far I've been really enjoying the portablility of it and also love the Sudoku game iTunes has for it! Now I've just got to find the perfect dock for it!Customer Review: wonderful for commuting

My family travels alot. We go three of four big trips a year and take weekend get aways several times a month. My husband bought this as a gift for me to use during my afternoon runs, but I have filled it up with shows and music for our kids! They love watching a cartoon or listening to the little mermaid sound track while we are at the grocery store, waiting for a connecting flight or traveling in the car. Did I mention that I have 4 children under the age of 5? I have no idea how we survived without it. LIFE SAVER!!!
