Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of Apple iPod nano 8 GB Blue (4th Generation) [Previous Model]

Customer Review: iPod nano flop!!!
Summary: 2 Stars

I had a chance to enjoy my nano for just about 1 year then the warranty expired and so did my Nano. All throughout it would do weird things like play the same song over and over, not allow me to listen to other categories of music, and sometimes freeze forcing me to turn it off and on again. I thought I just hadn't quite learned how to use it. THEN... it completely froze, does not charge, just does not work at all... great while it lasted; somebody PLEASE come out with something with as many bells and whistles but cheaper.

Customer Review: Keeps getting BETTER!
Summary: 5 Stars

I purchased this as a gift for an invalid who is hard or hearing. I cannot say enough GOOD things about it. EASY to use, wonderful thoughtful new features and even though hard of hearing, my sister invalid can hear through the ear buds. PLENTY of memory compared to my 1st gen nano (which I also still use and love)
*SHe is also very small* so compared to a CD player, the Nano is a dream to carry and deal with on a day to day basis.
BOttom line: IF I had 100 friends and the money, I'd buy 100 of this model.

Customer Review: iPod nano 8GB
Summary: 5 Stars

I just got one of these and it is great. Good sound quality, and pretty fun games. The new shuffle feature is nice ( and yes, you can turn it off). I have one with blue and white and it works great.
If your nano won't turn on, hold down the center and menu button at the same time. If that does not work, try toggling the hold switch on and off.
A 8GB will hold about 2,000 songs if you do not download movies and such. Enjoy your nano and have a nice time listening to some music! (Or "muzik", if you prefer)

Customer Review: Fustrating would be a good word
Summary: 1 Stars

I got this yesterday and it is going back today. It is a complete hassle to load and use. I loaded 100 mp3's which run on any other mp3 player and this machine says I have one song on it. It will not see other entries and it is NOT intuitive for those of us that do not have several hours to figure it all out. My one adventure with Apple will probably be my last. P.S. I dislike having a special USB cable end such that it can not be shared with any other piece of equipment.

Customer Review: Great compact mp3 player also good for podcasts
Summary: 4 Stars

This is my first experience with mp3 players, and I am very happy with it. I have debated between 4 and 5 starts, however, as the documentation is a little sparse. The click wheel took a little getting used to, and sometimes I will rewind a podcast all the way when I only intend to backup a minute. Nevertheless I really like compact size and the logic behind it. It is great for catching up on broadcasts when you are on public transportation, and music/sound quality is great also.
