Customer Review: Get a protective cover with a clip!
Summary: 3 Stars

I bought my husband one for his birthday. Bought it on Tuesday. Uploaded songs to it on Wednesday. Gave it to him on Thursday. He dropped it on Sunday. Not far - less than 2 feet. The glass shattered. The LCD still works, the music still plays but the glass is not tempered, not coated and not shatter resistant. I don't know if a protective cover would have helped but at least I wouldn't have broken glass everywhere. They either need to include a replacement glass or sell it with a small clip on it like the shuffle. We have an appt. with the apple store in Plano and hope that Apple will provide a free replacement as they have done for others in similar cases.

Customer Review: meh. It's an iPod
Summary: 4 Stars

It is what you'd expect. It holds your music and videos. It plays your music and videos. The battery life isn't what I expected - figure about 3-4 hours of uninterrupted music playback. I expected that with the videos, but figured music would last longer. Maybe it's the color screen? Maybe I got one that doesn't have a good battery? Who knows.

And the only way to charge it seems to be by plugging it into the computer via its USB cable. Prior to this Nano, i had a 4th gen iPod classic (the one RIGHT before they introduced color screens). that one came with a plug-in charger. I wish these new ones still had that...

Customer Review: Compact and easy to use
Summary: 5 Stars

The iPod is easy to use. Basically, just plugged it in on my iMac G5 and iTunes popped up and asked me a series of questions and setup my iPod. I opted for the 8GB over the 16GB iPod based on others reviews. After using my iPod for a few weeks, I still think it was a good choice. It takes some getting used to the "wheel", but it's a fancy interface that works well. I purchased a Belkin Acrylic Case for my iPod. It was worth the money. After a few weeks, I've removed the iPod from the case and the iPod still looks like new. I definitely recommend using a protective case.

Customer Review: My First iPod- and I Love it!!!
Summary: 5 Stars

I purchased the blue 8GB iPod Nano about a month ago, and so far, I love it! I can't believe I waited so long to buy one! For me, it's very simple to use, from adding music and video to navitgating the menus. My only issues with it so far are the battery life (I have to charge it pretty much every other day), and it has frozen up on me a couple times. Fortunately, it's easy to reset when it does freeze. If you're new to the iPod game, and you NEED the screen (like I do), but not a lot of space for your music, this is a very good one to have! Love the choice of colors, also!

Customer Review: Complete BS!!!
Summary: 1 Stars

the item looks great but it does not live up to its expectations. it doesn't work unless its plugged into the computer & when its unplugged it shuts off completely and doesn't come on at all. so now i have to go out to replace the battery. this was a waste of time & money. they are liars and frauds & i wish i could sue because they should of included this information and i wouldn't have feel like a fool. but what can u do. i'll just make the most of it i guess. do not do business with these people but if do think twice about it...ask questions...i wish i did.
