I have been very happy with this purchase so far. It is actually for my daughter and she is thrilled. It works great and is easy to recharge with the computer or with a wall charger. She has it with her all the time and hasn't had any complaints about any aspect of it. This is the way to buy it, through Amazon, as you save some money and can still get the older version which is more versitile and user friendly than the newer ones. I have both the new (3rd gen) and the older (2nd gen) Nano. In terms of navigation, the older Nano is better. It's easier on my hands to click and go to different songs, or go to a particular artist.
Although the screen is bigger in the 3rd gen Nano, it's not easy to download DVD from Windows computer to the Nano. This Video feature is not used by me at all. I really hope Apple will make DVD conversion to iPod easier in the future.

This is my first Apple Product and I am quite impressed with the Nano 3G. I was a little apprehensive about the color of the iPod and ordered a sticker/cover for it. But, when the product arrived, I was pleasantly surprised that the color was quite similar to the signature color of Korean Air. Its a cool shade thats between blue and green. The product photo isn't a fair representation. Overall, a good experience.Customer Review: Nice size, not so great sound

I have about 7 or 8 different mp3 players and a pair of Bose earphones. So I have knowledge on different features and sound quality. Although I really like the size of the Nano, I'm not impressed with the sound quality. I've changed the equalizer and sound settings, but it doesn't seem to help much. My Creative Zen Vision M (although bigger and heavier) blows this Nano away in terms of sound and clarity.
