I had originally posted a less than glowing review for the new Ipod Nano based simply on what we can describe now as the old "cover-flow problem". Well, now I know that when I bought my new Ipod, I wasn't simply getting a good product, but a company that listens to it's customers. I didn't like one of the software design aspects to the product (a lot of people didn't), so Apple listened, and now I feel better about being an Ipod owner. Now everyone can head into the holiday season not having to worry that their Ipod will function differently than how it used to. Additionally, if you like the new interface, you can keep it, Apple just gave people the option to choose. Great move Apple, and as I said, I've removed my less favorable review and replaced it with this, because Apple listened.Customer Review: Pretty In Pink Battery Stinks!

I bought the ipod nano 4th gen in pink (the new smaller pretty ipod )i also own an 80 gb ipod classic 1 gb i pod shuffle currently previously before they died i also owned a 30 gb ipod video and the 1 gen ipod so i am no stranger to ipods or to apple products while these ipod appeal to many because of the pretty colors they come in they are fun and functional i would recommend this product to younger teens/ kids /adults who dont have large music collections and if you plan on listening more than 3 or 4 hours continously spring for the classic the battery life is 3 times as long i love this ipod its cute and the screen is amazing but as i am heavy usage listener the 4 hour batterie life doesnt cut it for me but i love ir for occasionaly listening and a backup for the classicCustomer Review: This is the worst iPod ever

I am a huge fan of iPods, having owned nearly every single model since 2005. This is the worst of them all, by far. The battery lasts not even half as long as the previous model. So YES, I get twice as much space for music and media - but I have HALF AS MUCH TIME TO LISTEN TO THAT MEDIA. What's the point in having twice as much material to listen to, but only a fraction of the battery capacity to actually listen to it? This ipod only lasts about 3.5 hours max - and that's without video, people. The last generation lasted 7-9 hours. I never in my wildest dreams would have imagined the battery life on a NEWER model to be inferior to an older one.
Plus, old accessories do not work with this model. I want my money back. Apple, you should be ashamed.

I like this ipod. It's little small (it seemed at first), but it's size has "grown on me", and now, I'm glad it's so small. It's very portable, and it sounds great! Good features and easy to use, as well as a now to bad battery life.
For a long, long while, I held off on getting an ipod, because for some reason, it just never seemed that the sound quality would be very good, and so I waited. But, as sometimes happens, I was proven very wrong when I listened to a friends ipod, and that was it! From that point, I just had to have one. Now I do, and so far, it's really great! I got an 8gig nano, and have pretty much all my fav. music on it, which is about 90+ cd's! Holy crap! All that music in one place, and all at the push of a button. I'm hooked.
Customer Review: New Nano does not work with Accessories

this product works just like the older Nano's except it has one major flaw. IT WILL NOT WORK WITH YOUR ACCESSORIES. IT WILL NOT WORK WITH THE DENON IPOD DOCK, IT WILL NOT WORK IN YOUR BMW AND LEXUS that have Ipod connections. IT WILL NOT WORK WITH YOUR BOSE SOUND DOCK and nearly all other accessories. It will play, but it wont charge and wont turn off, so it runs the battery out and just sits dead.
the really infuriating thing is that Apple has pushed this device into the market as a portable music storage device and if you are like me, you have invested hundreds or thousands of dollars on docks for your home entertainment centers and autos. They are really treating their customers very poorly with this move.
