I wanted a Flip but found the new nano a better buy. Hooked it to my macbook and in ten minutes, all my iTunes songs and videos were synced to the new nano without any intervention from me. Unaided registration and sync. Great. Everything should work like this. Video playback is good, the music sounds very good using Bose headphones and OK through the included ear buds. Shot a short video of my two cats and it looks good on the nano. Have not transferred it to my computer yet as I have not figured out how to do that. Read the manual I guess. I like the small size of this nano. It goes in a pocket like change and car keys; well not the same pocket. Should be more fun (camera) than the old one.Customer Review: Big Mistake

I bought the nano as a replacement for an older classic, which was a great unit but time has taken it's toll on the battery and screen. I guess my problems are my own fault for not doing enough reasearch and "hands on" playing. I have fairly large hands and the control wheel is just too small. The controls are also way too sensitive for my liking. The gen 5 ipod has a video camera and FM radio neither of which I have any use for. Of course being Apple I should not have expected any of my older accessories to work with the new one..they don't.
In summary if I had my money back I would have stayed home and not come to this party. Spend the extra $$$ and buy the classic.

This is my third ipod. I decided it was time for a new ipod when the technology changed and improved with the added feature of a radio, pedometer, tag song technology, and more capacity. I also like it for keeping track of my mileage when I can get that feature to work. To use the mileage tracking feature for running you have to purchase a transmitter & sensor. In addition, to the sensor which cost $29.99, you need a pair of nike plus shoes($100.00) and an armband ($29.00). You don't need the shoes if you purchase a pouch ($5.00) for your sensor which can be laced up on any pair of sneakers. I'm an apple fan, that suffers with some of the inoperable overpriced features.Customer Review: I Love This Little Guy!

I've been a little behind in upgrading my Ipod. I was using an old Ipod Mini whose battery wouldn't hold a charge, so this new 5G Ipod Nano is a marvel to me. First of all, it's tiny, tiny, tiny compared to the Mini. Then there's the color screen, which is just a pleasure to look at it. It works just like my mini with the scroll wheel, so I've had pretty much no learning curve. There's some new stuff I haven't really used on the Nano, like the video recorder, the FM tuner, and picture viewer, but the little I've played around with it shows that it all works great. It works just fine with my Windows 7 now that I have the latest ITunes installed. I couldn't be happier!Customer Review: 5th Generation IPOD NANO

This device is of top quality, design and engineering(as would be expected from Apple). I am impressed by all the features. The abilities to record the radio, shoot video with the built-in camera or use as a podometer in addition to watching movies or listening to music are awesome.
