Customer Review: i think i'm in love
Summary: 3 Stars

OK i'll admit it...i'm in love with my new nano. I look forward to uploading music and seeing all my favs glide by on the cover flow. I run three miles a day so having good quality sound and portability is a must. The sound is indeed awesome but i wish there was a way to prevent others from hearing your music....I bought the armband to fit this ipod but for a runner it can get a little annoying. BUT I"M STILL in LOVE. Had a nervous breakdown when my music wouldnt play through the buds one day.....even after ensuring that the earbuds were properly inserted. i contacted apple and they told me to hold down the menu and centre buttons..that made me question the durability of the product. Overall though i'm impressed....bought another one for my cool dad.

Customer Review: Expect the best from Apple
Summary: 5 Stars

The 5th avatar of Ipod nano brings in new enhancements a video camera, FM radio, voice recording and builtin speakers and a shuffle function. As always the form factor and build quality is exceptional. The black colour is gorgeous. The long curved nano fits neatly into your palm.

The screen is larger and brilliant. I love the FM radio feature. You can pause the radio and replay which is a great feature.

The minuses are few. Camera doesn't take pictures. It does feel delicate at times and you are afraid of snapping the Ipod into two ( it is unlikely to happen though).

Definitely recommend it if you are looking for a new MP3 / music player. I am not sure if it is worth upgrading from an existing Ipod.

Customer Review: Ipod nano g5
Summary: 5 Stars

This is my third ipod, my first being a mini and second two a g4 and g5. This is a great little device. I am a pro musician and I know good sound. I use it in my car, on my bike, at night listening to jazz on the radio, ect. The video camera is really easy to use and fun to have. My only problem was trying to get it to sync with my itunes library. I called support,(many times), went to the Apple store, and could not make it happen. Until...I discovered that I needed to load some new drivers into my computer, (a pc), so it could interface with the itunes program and then it was only a few minutes and everything was working right. If you don't have an mp3 player this is the one to get. It is small and very light and sounds great.

Customer Review: 8 Gig Nano latest edition
Summary: 4 Stars

I use this device mainly for recorded books and podcasts, less for music. It does a fine job. Basic operation is intuitive and easy, but I wish the instructions were more extensive and complete. In particular, it was (for me, at least) impossible to figure out how to go back just a bit, rather than returning to the beginning of the current track. (This is important for recorded books, in particular, because you may be well along in a chapter and want to go back just a bit, not all the way to the start.) Finally, another user told me how to do it, but it is FAR from obvious and it is hard to fine control, easy to go back much more than you intend. Nevertheless, overall I rate the product quite highly.

Customer Review: Disappointing.
Summary: 1 Stars

I had an iPod Nano for four years before this one. It was durable, sturdy, and I loved it. Unfortunately, it eventually died. So, I bought a new one in November. It's now March and the battery wont last more than a day, the menu button doesn't work, and 90% of the time I try to get to the next song it automatically skips a few seconds ahead instead. If not, it will start genius or re-shuffle for no apparent reason. I've almost thrown it out of my car window several times due to frustration. I must plug it into my computer in order to get back to the main menu, and if I end up on a playlist I'm tired of, I must plug it in and eject it just to switch - a truly useless product. I will never buy an iPod again.
