This charger is great for the Ipod shuffle. Most Ipod accessories require an adapter to use the shuffle since it uses a USB connection. Because this already uses a USB connection, it's very convenient. I keep this in my kitchen for easy charging. I agree with the other reviews though, this would not be handy for any of the other types of Ipods.Customer Review: Pricey, but effective.

This device does what it's meant to do - charge your Ipod quickly and effectively. I know there are other chargers out there that are less expensive, I simply wanted to buy the Apple brand to ensure I had no compatability issues and that if I did, I would have a reliable source to pursue a solution. I purchased this brand because I like to get the recommended brand when I can. Somehow, I don't trust the quality of cheaper solutions in this case. My iPod 80gig cost me $350.00, so no way I was NOT going to buy Apple charger.
Works well, and guess what? I'm going to use it for ALL my iPods, so it will be doing triple duty!

This product is great for people who have an iPod, and need to charge it in the absence of a computer. iPods these days don't come with an adapter, unlike the "old-school" 4th-gen and older iPods that came in a cube-shaped box instead of a slim box. One plus is that the plug can be removed for easy adaptation with the international kit.Customer Review: Super Product

This was a super product especially for the price. Now my girls don't have to charge each ipod off the computer which takes forever. They can charge it anywhere they go also. The price was more than worth it considering that apple wanted twice this for their own charger. I don't know what the differ is, but this works just great.
