After about 3 months, the AC adapter just stopped working, leaving me in a pinch when it came to charging my ipod (I was traveling). While I can live without my ipod, it was still a hassel. Not sure what caused it, but it was working great beforehand. Perhaps this is not genuine Apple, or perhaps I just got a faulty one, but be aware that this may happen to you as well. While it lasted, however, it was a great small size and I've always liked the utility of Apple AC adapters. If you care about quality, make sure it is genuine Apple (though this is sometimes difficult to ascertain).Customer Review: Great Portable Charger

This is a great product! I bought it to take on vacation with me as I wouldn't have access to a computer for a week but still wanted to listen to my ipod on the road. I used it every night on our trip and my ipod was ready and charged up when I needed it. I had purchased another brand, Monster iSlimCharger, prior to this one and was extremely disappointed. It would uncharge my ipod completely and not recharge it. I was so upset and mad at myself for not just purchasing the Apple brand one in the first place! I learned my lesson and am very happy with this purchase.Customer Review: Great Item

I bought this item a few weeks ago and I must say I am very pleased with it . I no longer have to boot up my computer just to charge my ipod . If you have a video ipod then you know it uses some Battery juice when watching movies . I simply plug in and it is charged in no time and I am out the door with my ipod ready to go . I know there are cheaper version of this adapter , but in reading many reviews I saw where so many people had problems down the road with the cheaper ones . I stuck with a product made for apple so as not to void my warranty also .Customer Review: Compact, very helpful

I bought this product with the intention of using it to charge my iPod while travelling and not near a computer... It was quite perfect. Not only is it very small, the prongs fold into the body, but it is easy to use and worked great with a voltage adapter, as I was travelling internationally. Also turned out to be useful when someone in our house wants to charge an iPod without the risk of someone's computer altering songs. Overall great thing to have, and from amazon, it was about half as much as apple was charging for the same thing.Customer Review: A nifty little, easy to tote charger

I like the fact that the prongs fold down and the cord is completely detachable. It is small enough that it is not a burden to travel with, and the earbud white cord is pretty chic (although it doesn't go with my DLO HipCase Leather Folio for iPod touch (Black)). When traveling, I use my iPod a lot for e-mail and in-flight/in-hotel entertainment, so a reliable, small charger is a must. This one fits the bill and I recommend it.
