What costs $5 to make but sells for $30. Well this over priced peice of plastic from Apple. Apple is a greedy company. they make a profit of 75% on this. i'd say go for the alternative, bur if you want peace of mind ordering from offical 1st party Company like apple, then go ahead it's your money.Customer Review: ipod power adapter

this adapter is great for travel, it can be used any where 120v ac current is available, cruises, camping, hotels, of course home, caribbean islands, even bermuda, something every one who owns an ipod should have. plug it to an outlet, wake up with charged ipod, it's great works every time..Customer Review: Excellent

Small, great design, and does exactly what it's supposed to do ... have tried it a few times and am very happy. doesn't even seem to get too warm when left plugged in over night. So simple - comes with the cable. Charges the iPod and more, allows you to use it for long, uninterrupted sessions. For example, recording live gigs using the Belkin TuneTalk which plugs into the bottom of my 80GB iPod. The Belkin has a passthrough mini usb on the bottom. Small adapter, but it works great, it charge faster then using the computer.
I had bought another less expensive usb charger but that one was so bad, been charging the whole day seems like nothing happen.
Well this one is little expensive but it worth.
