Customer Review: One of the most worthless accessories that go with your iPod

The lesser said about this accessory the better...simply because there is nothing spectacular or even worth mentioning. I was completely fooled by the description and the images available on Apple's website. For a company known to be innovators, I believe Apple has dropped the ball on this one.
Which designer would contemplate designing a carrying case, that too for a portable device like the iPod, where the user can't view/operate the controls? And on top of that they have a price of $35+....
Also one word of caution...users have to pull the device out to turn it off. If you don't have the settings on hold, using the "Hold" button, chances are the device turns itself on when you put it back in the case. If this goes un-noticed it can drain the battery out. So make sure you slide the "Hold" button to the "Enable" or "On" position after turning off your iPod, before putting it back in the case.
On the whole I am *very very* disappointed with this accessory, which is why I've given it a rating of 1 star (Amazon did not let me give it 0 stars). True, the quality of the material is good etc. etc., which probably is the only good point. When it doesn't serve a basic purpose for the user (allowing him/her to access the controls) it is a huge failure in my opinion.
My final word on this: *Not Recommended*
