Customer Review: Won't calibrate my run

I wear this on a pouch in my non-Nike shoe. I didn't need to calibrate it for my warm up walk and it measured distance/pace fine. However, after repeated attempts outside and on a treadmill it won't recognize my run mileage. I've tried to calibrate this thing at least 5 times and it stays at 0.0 for running. VERY FRUSTRATING!! However it still recognizes my walk rate. I don't understand what the problem and fix could be. If it would recognize my run distance/pace then this device would be great.Customer Review: The amazing motivator!

The Nike+ system has really been a good motivator for me. As a new runner, I need all the motivation and positive reinforcement I can get. The challenges and goals are a good way to keep on track as well.
I didn't buy the Nike+ shoes - I use mine with the Marware Sportsuit Relay set up. It's a great system and a lot cheaper than spending $100 for a pair of running shoes when I already have a couple good pairs in the closet.
Both products are highly recommended!

If you are a runner so matter what level you are - you will love having this as a partner! It will help keep you motivated and will keep track of how you are doing! The best part of this is that when you sync it up with your Ipod it will send the info from your runs and upload the results to Nike+ site. The other thing I love about the Nike+ site is that you can create challenges to compete with friends, family and people all over the world to help keep you motivated as well!Customer Review: THE BEST Motivational training tool

Motivation comes in a small package. Get this and log your runs including detail of your speed throughout. Plug in your ipod and iTunes will automatically send the data from your run to the Nike+ website traking your training. On the Nike website you can set goals, race people across the world, and even get HTML to embed your runs for viewing on your blog, website, myspace, whatever you have that takes HTML (with autmoatic updates).

This device is awesome. I absolutley highly recommend it, especially since I used it on the treadmill and discovered the treadmill, all this time, has given me inaccurate distances. I don't wear Nike sneakers, but it was easy enough to make a little pouch for the transmitter and pin it under my laces onto the tongue of the sneaker. I love that it tracks my runs for me and graphs them so I can see my progress.
If you're considering it, buy it, you won't regret it!
