Customer Review: It's like communism...

...great in theory, not so great in practice. Did a 13+ mile run today. When I hit the "stop workout" my iPod reset itself. Run was lost. This is the second time in the past two months that I lost a long run. Because the Nike site doesn't let you manually input data (owing to competitions, I think, among runners), I'm unable to track these two runs.
I like the idea of the Sport Kit, but given that tracking runs is the basic purpose of this device and it has only done this with limited success, I can't say I'm totally thrilled. (Additionally, I recently had to spend over an hour on the phone with tech support because my device would not synch to the Nike site.)
Having been a devoted consumer of all things Apple and Nike for 20+ years, I expect this device to work 100% of the time. It hasn't, which makes it extra frustrating because I'm such a big fan of both these companies. Don't know if there are better options on the market - probably not - but I can't recommend this wholeheartedly like I expected to when I first received it off my wish list.
