Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of Apple Mighty Mouse Wireless KitCustomer Review: Nice Mouse Summary: 3 Stars
I just bought a new Macbook PRO and was looking for a matching mouse, bluetooth, well made...so I went with the Mighty Mouse. The pros are that it LOOKS great with Apple, it connects via bluetooh, is fairly smooth with tracking. The problems with it are that it's limited in terms of buttons. If you look at a Logitech mouse you find 4-6 buttons or sometimes MORE, this has a great scroll wheel, you're apple one click, and some "side buttons" that supposedly do something...but feel very awkward.
I would reccommend TRYING it out at an Apple store first. I like it, but it's no where near as awesome as my Logitech G7.
Customer Review: Another apple product preforming above the competition. Summary: 5 Stars
I switched to apple products with my MacBook Pro purchase in 2000. I'm loyal to Apple's product line because of the proformance standand.
The might mouse is another example of Apple's commitment to provide excellent product to the consumer. At first it takes some time to adjust to the proformance level of the mighty mouse, be paitent and allow the mouse work for you. It's much like the iphone when typing, don't try so hard and the keyboard works for you. The same concept with the might mouse.
Another must have product if your an apple user. To the rest world make the switch.
Customer Review: Disappointed Summary: 2 Stars
The mouse is not ergonomically designed and is too sensitive to any clicks. Because the left and right buttons are disguised under one surface, it's hard to use. The scroll ball is perfectly sensitive and love the option to scroll left and right. But I do not think it'll be easy to clean all the dust that will be trapped in the device. The side buttons need to be pressed hard to activate. Overall, I would not pay $50+ for this mouse. After 3 hours of use, my wrist, hand and even my arm begins to ache. I only received it through a promotion apple was having at the time I purchased an imac. Save your money.
Customer Review: Great mouse until it dies. Summary: 2 Stars
When I got an iMac the wireless Mighty Mouse came with it and it was great. The Apple bluetooth keyboard is awesome as well. Then a couple months later I couldn't scroll down at all, and I looked on the internet and found some issues with the scrollball and it needs to be cleaned. After cleaning it, it worked for another month and then ended up doing the same thing. After cleaning it this time scrolling down is rough and slow compared to scrolling up. I am going to purchase a new mouse instead of this Apple Mighty Mouse. I wish it was as reliable as the keyboard, because I have had no problems there!
Customer Review: Mighty Mouse not great for 3D Summary: 3 Stars
The good: can use with either hand ( to relieve long sessions); 3 buttons needed for newer programs.
Mac compatible.
The bad: Limited options for programming right button settings. Right button settings not compatible with many 3D programs; scroll ball OK except if scroll finger is "damp" (sweat; moisture transfer from water glass to hands; etc) it will stick. My solution: dry hands and turn mouse over and roll button around on top of mouse pad ... seems to work. Side buttons to hard to press ... worthless to me.
The ugly: Recommend you try other brands suggested by other reviewers
